"Good food. Quick helpful service. Super busy which is to be expected on a Sunday morning. The only reason they get 4 stars is due to the ceiling. It's clear that the ceiling is not included in regular housekeeping duties."

"Second day eating here. First day out standing, good and service. That was on a Sunday. Went Monday morning, service was hugely lacking but there were next to no workers. DO NOT get the crepes, an absolute waste of money, hard no filing, just sad. French toast is good though."

"I went for my birthday breakfast. I ordered the chicken fried steak and boy oh boy, was it fresh!!! The pancakes were delicious too. I dug in too fast to take pictures, sorry. It really was that hot and fresh!"

"I have been a fan of VI for years. From east coast to west coast. Always had a great experience; friendly atmosphere, delicious food and great service. Unfortunately today was the exception. I had never ate at the Avondale location but decided to give it a try. We were sat and waited close to 7 minutes to be greeted. Took an additional 5 minutes to get our drinks ( There were only about 8 tables sat in the entire restaurant). Server was not at all friendly nor welcoming. I felt like we were inconvenience the whole-time. Hate feeling like that when you are coming to spend your money and get nourishment. Adding insult to injury, when my food came out, it was warm not hot ( looks like it just sat). And , was provided an empty bottle of ketchup… Please do better, VI. May have been a one off but I have never had such a poor experience. I may be back, but highly doubtful."
