"A step through the doors of Boulders on Southern Bar and Grill takes you back to the essence of genuine American dining, reminiscent of the many authentic local spots I've savored around the globe. The self-seating policy is a refreshing nod to simpler times, where the focus is on the food and the fellowship of good company. The bartender, Nick, adds his own brand of warmth, serving up solid drinks. The menu, while seemingly straightforward, delivers with exceptional execution. The side salad was unexpectedly vibrant, a crisp prelude to the main culinary event. The burger, a hearty BBQ bacon cheeseburger, was an homage to traditional American cookery. Hand-pressed 80/20 ground chuck cooked to a juicy medium-well, held within a robust pretzel bun, delivered a satisfyingly balanced bite. It's a place where I a globe-trotting 52-year-old can appreciate the homegrown quality and heartiness of the meal served."

"I have eaten here numerous times since I moved to the area 5 years ago. Food is good and large beer selection. They no longer have a menu you have to install the app on your phone. I don't really care for that but I still like the place. Maybe because I am older and I don't want to install new stuff on my phone. Moosedrool burgers are the best."

"I’m a big fan of juicy non fatty Tangy Buffalo wings with a flavor you’ll want to come for often. Here’s a place you can enjoy a medium level spice that doesn’t burn your face off. Instead you’ll have the perfect combo of perfection. I wasn’t crazy about the dry rub but I prefer saucy wings instead anyway. The BBQ pizza was outstanding and must try at least once. The Monterey Ranch pizza was good with onion rings but lacked a stronger flavor I was hoping for. Artichoke dip was amazing for an appetizer! Fun environment too."
