"I went in just before closing with a problem on my work truck (it was shutting off whole driving and they were very helpful. Ryan especially took the lead in diagnosing my issue. He quickly found the problem(a battery issue) communicated it to me and began to work on the truck. In no more than 25 minutes Ryan had rectified the issue and I was on my way. I definitely recommend anyone to this PEP Boys location! Thanks again Ryan you're the best$⁶"

"Coolant Change, There was Issue with the Type of Coolant. My car requires ethyl-glycol with phosphate, common for Asian cars (Kia). For Kia/Hyundai/Nissan/Subaru, is called Asian Green. I called in advanced and asked for the phosphate type. When I arrived, the service rep (Brian) had ordered Asian Red (Toyota), so I pointed out there error to another service rep and that Asian Green is the type needed according to coolant manufacturer (Peak) and the OEM (KIA). "No problem" was their response and they ordered the correct type (and I need wait 45 min). The problem is when I left, the service rep I talked to originally on phone, stated that they correct type is Asian Red (Toyota type for my Kia?), and don't come back to complain if there problems and that they did installed Asian Green coolant under my orders. (It would have been good to tell me this before service!!!!). This service rep refused to discuss the type of coolant and the recommendations from coolant manufacture and OEM, cutting me off, stating that Pep Boys software is better at identifying correct coolant. So I'm disappointed with there behavior and would not recommend Pep Boys due to service reps."

"This Pep Boys location has the best employees I have ever worked with in the mechanic field. I'm a female who knows when people are trying to pull one over on me.. and as a female.. it's usually mechanics thinking they have the upper hand. Holly and Brian/Ryan because I can never remember (that's my bad), are so knowledgeable, helpful, and real. Everytime I work with them, they give helpful car advice, answer any questions, and give me a heads up when maintenence is coming, even if it's 6 months away. I'm always taken care of and they've saved me so much money and time just by being honest. Couldn't recommend this Pep Boys more."

"Dropped my car off first thing on a Monday, took almost all day to even hear back. Said it was going to take days to get the parts. Pick up the car on Wednesday after $2400 in repairs. Next morning check engine light on again, so I return. Say they will look into it, and I can just wait around. Two hours go by with no communication so I ask what the status is. Says the part is 30 min away, there is a left and a right one and the day before one had gotten left off. I asked how that could have happened and he just says "Oh I wasn't here yesterday". So I go get lunch, come back an hour later. Still no part. Ends up being another hour or so before the part even shows up, let alone gets installed. Get the car back and the engine light is still on. I go back in and ask why the light is still on. Guy says "Oh yeah, they said that might happen. You might be missing another part so if it stays on just come back, but that won't be covered so we would start this process all over again." So next morning when light was still on, I obviously went to another repair shop. As they say - "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results." After engine diagnostic at the second place, come to find out there are even more problems Pep Boys failed to mention, among them: engine fluids needing to be replaced, other engine components needing new parts, a leak was detected and they acknowledged Pep Boys had replaced the brakes but did nothing to the brake fluid. Will not be returning and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone."

"i always prefer pep boys for my oil changes on my high mileage vehicle. they do a thorough vehicle inspection that you're not going to get at many of the quick service places. this gives me the peace of mind after each and every oil change. they have always been honest as to what will be needed and when."
