"A vigorous hike through the woods initially with an amazing payoff at the top with spectacular CDA Lake views! We saw and heard a woodpecker and other species of wildlife. The decline was a bit hard on my damaged hip, but the views made it worth the trip. Lots of well placed benches to rest along the way with fantastic views."
"One of the most spectacular hikes I have been on. Someone had kindly left 2 walking sticks which was greatly appreciated. We returned them after our hike. The pictures say it all. Some very steep hiking so would not recommend if you aren’t wearing proper shoes/attire or are comfortable with more intense hikes. Several benches for resting. There are also many shortcuts if desired but those are the really steep areas. Very small parking lot but we were the only hikers at 7:45 am, during the hike only saw 3 other hikers."
"I love this hike. I try to hike it many times a year. It's a quick hike if you are in decent shape. About 45 min. Up and down. You could do it numerous times if you want to go longer. Very beautiful and the trail is well maintained. Restrooms at the trail head. About a dozen parking spots. Well used trail."
"3.5 mile hike with about 740’ of elevation gain (according to my tracker). The trail is well kept and is easy going. Lots of beautiful birds to enjoy. The view is incredible. The parking lot is very small, I recommend going early to avoid the over crowding."
"Incredible sunset views on this hike. On June 1st, we started the hike at 7:05p and made it to the top just in time for the sunset. Had time to sit and enjoy it and got back at 8:45p. It took us 1hr40min total fast paced hike with spending some time at the top. Excellent views and lots of benches throughout to a rest, meditate, or just to read a book in the beautiful nature. Highly recommend."
