Neighbors delivering packages because they got the wrong boxes. Blatant lies on why no delivery was made. Why does anyone even use them at this point?"

"I get it, it’s a big delivery area. But can’t a driver spend 2 minutes on a map service looking through their route before they leave the shipping hub? I would rather pay for shipping via UPS than have another parcel shipped to me via FedEx. I’ve been completely soured to FedEx for years. We live rural, and Google Maps can’t find our street address, but my phone number and an alternate address to enter into GPS is on each package, and a driver or manager could call ahead rather than waste a trip to my neighbor’s house or another town with similar street names 50 miles away, and then have my neighbor bring a package over to me, or hear from neighbors that this is just “typical FedEx”, and they continue to tell me their package was left in a truck bed in front of a random house in town. Just to give an example of ONE recent Walmart order; they lost one package that was “delivered”, then took its replacement to my neighbor’s 1/4 mile away. Surprisingly one driver found our house with one stack of packages and asked me what our address is before he left the boxes here. Next package was “delivered, left at garage”. We don’t have a garage. I tried to call FedEx but it only goes to the national number, not the local shipping center. Three days later the neighbor brought my last package over when they realized none of their tenants had ordered another bunk bed. It doesn’t take a logistics major to figure how to plan a driver’s route. I used to do that for a living. How come only FedEx messes this up so royally? USPS and UPS have no issues."
