Applebee's Grill + Bar

"Went in tonight with my daughter. Got some Buffalo wings as an appetizer, a medium rare steak with onion rings and bacon Mac and cheese for me, and a corn dog with apple sauce for my daughter. At first everything was going perfect. Service was quick and the server was on point with our drinks, getting our order and bringing the food to the table. About a quarter of the way into my meal, my daughter had to use the restroom. I get up and take her. When I'm coming back, the busser has take all of mine and my daughters foods and lumped it all onto one plate with her bare hands. I stop her and ask her what she's doing, and tell her that I am still here eating and point to my phone that I left on the table as an indicator that I'd be back. She apologizes and takes off. I ask my server for the manager because of the situation with my food. The manager comes and I express my concern regarding the busser not communicating with the server about my table. I tell the manager it's no big deal and she offers to remake my food. I tell her I'm in a hurry at this point now because I was going to be getting my food to go because I had to leave. She says that's perfectly fine and she will comp the meal except the appetizer of wings and have it made to go for me. I wait another 20 minutes for my daughters and my food to come out. The manager brings us our food and gives us our ticket with the compensation on it. At this point I'm ready to give the waitress a good tip because my bill has been cut by 2/3 and her service was great. I put my receipt and debit card at the end of the table and wait... And wait. And wait. My server never once came back. I was at this point waiting another 20 minutes after I got my new food just to pay and mind you, I ordered a medium rare steak. When a steak sits for that long in a plastic box, it cooks it more. I finally got tired of waiting because I leave to get back to my family who was expecting me home 30 minutes earlier. Then to top it all off, once I get home, my steak is medium well. Even with every chance to make it betyer, they still messed it up. I would not recommend this place to eat."

"Food quality has gone down alot. Just not as good. Service was slow took over 10 minutes to greet, when they were not busy. Rest of the service had that same momentum."

"I do not like pink in my burger. Me my wife and my child all ordered no pink in the hamburger and of course all three are pink. Had to cook my own burger to my liking. Could have done that and saved 20$. Very disappointing usually pretty good except the last few times sad face"

"I don't want anymore gift cards to Applebee's. Last night, both my wife and I were tired and not feeling the greatest, so rather than cook, we decided to have Applebee's carside to go. The main reason we chose Applebee's is because friends and family always seem to get me gift cards for Christmas, birthdays, etc. Anyway, we ordered the 2 for special even though price keeps going up and quality doesn't. 2 bacon cheeseburgers, baked potatoes, sour cream etc, and my wife loves the spinach artichoke dip. Waited the half hour, went to pick it up, only to be met outside by an attendant who claimed they called us to tell us they were out of baked potatoes. (Not sure who they called, wasn't us.) Anyhow, they substituted fries instead, and we said that was fine, but when we got home it was less fries than a small fry at McDonald's. And they were cold. I kept smelling something weird, kind of like a propane smell. I ate half my burger, a few of the fries, and my stomach started hurting, so I stopped. Both my wife and I have been in the restroom multiple times today with cramps and I woke up with a severe sore throat. Can I be 100% certain this is due to Applebee's, maybe not, but I'm certain it played a part. It was a less than satisfying meal, and wasn't completely what we ordered. I don't want anymore gift cards to Applebee's because I've watched the service here take a huge tumble in the last couple years, and frankly I'd rather have cash so I can at least go get the stuff to make a sandwich myself. My last review was about a year ago, not exactly the same but this place has taken a nose dive. Eat somewhere else."
