"I like taking the bus...it gets me from point A to point B...but the male driver fr the red line wz a lil rude... I understand they hav a schedule to keep but they can wait a min or two fr someone who is a lil slow bcuz of an injury..."
"Well it's a public transportation company. They provide a wide service with several other bus providers that centralize out of the community center in downtown Lewiston. From observation and common sense. Feel they do a 5.85 out of 10 providing service for an underfunded service. They're staffed as best they can and asked to push through and service a lot of services. Plus our area is so spread out. Believe in public transportation. It's an industry that if the public used to full advantage. We could change America for a lot of advantage to the extreme good. The community center is very well located and sized just right. Parking is also available and is maintained like Cinderellas glass slipper. Lewiston keeps it so clean that you can eat off of it. I live across the street from the community center parking lot and backside of the building. So I observe the busyness of the community. It's a little bit of ongoing soap opera. I'm an optimistic person to the extreme. So please realize I'm all about customer service, professionalism, safety, being positive, and lots of so other things. Always believe in and was taught about laughing and enjoying today in the moment to the extreme. Your attitude is everything in this world. In my experience of 50 years now. Was taught two very important words. Those are having total devotion of apathy with everyone. Empathizing with everyone is the 2nd priority. Anyhow have a concern of the speeds of the traffic in the area. My particular block has a few houses that are family homes. The traffic is aggressive and leaves me scratching my head. Have stressed even with bus system that patience and professionalism is a must. There's been some talking with managers and our enforcement agencies. I'm very strongly into making sure our community gets the maximum amount of care in safety. Will say as a middle aged Christian man. Never thought our country would come and get to where we're at. Just think down to earth "COMMON SENSE ", is very sparse and lacking. Given all of this. Every institution is stretched way beyond what is normal. So we need to understand what that means. We as a country are trying hard with extreme circumstances. Stay safe and enjoy. My favorite saying every day is. "To another day in paradise." It's said and applied a lot every day. Loving so hard that it hurts is my other goal daily."
"This service is needed by many, and could be one of the best assets to those without transportation, but the drivers need to think more about idling. For 20 minutes a bus was parked running outside in the sun -- wouldn't it be better to park in the shade, then turn off the bus and the air conditioner? Little things will help our air stay cleaner and our neighborhoods less noisy."
"If I could give zero stars I would. We tried 'kids ride free' today to try getting my stepson to the community college for his summer running start classes. We had the app, knew the pickup times and locations, knew to wave and the bus line color etc. THE BUS DROVE BY HIM. They left a minor at a bus stop. A known, planned bus stop, at the scheduled pickup time, waving at the bus. I called the transit office and all they said was sorry, she will be back up there in 40 minutes. I asked how I'm supposed to feel comfortable leaving children to ride the bus and I was told to call ahead so they can let the drivers know. They have to let the bus drivers know that there may be people at bus stops at scheduled bus pickup times?! They need to inform the drivers to do their jobs. Amazing."
"Transit stop and Headquarters, I use the bus often. Handy to use for work, the staff is always pleasant. The Driver's are courteous and helpful, they will stop if requested if on route, close to where you need to get. It has helped me to get closer to places I need to get to, in either Clarkston or Lewiston. Even if you need to get to the Appaloosa Transit to make further destinations. Thanks for being there Folks. I do wish it ran later at times to help folks like me to make it to work or back home, but you can't have everything."
