"If you’re going to pay rent in this town, you may as well love where you live! I spent months evaluating the local rental market and almost bypassed this complex based on older reviews when the complex was under prior management. I am so glad I didn’t overlook this gem! My rent is very reasonable for the area and amenities. The layout of the apartment makes it feel larger than it is, and I love all the natural light. A maintenance issue I had the day before Thanksgiving was addressed the same day; I was so grateful to not have to wait until after the weekend. I rarely hear my neighbors and my downstairs neighbor let me know they don’t hear noise from me, even though I have a dog and work odd hours. I love the proximity of the Greenbelt and the mail room is great for keeping your items safe until you can collect them. The dog wash station comes in handy, the grounds are well-lit at night, and I’ve never encountered an unfriendly neighbor!"

"Don’t move here. Management will not take your complaints seriously. I have been woken up in the middle of the night by my neighbors at least 3 times a week for the last 6 months. I have provided management with over 200 videos and hours of footage of the continued harassment by my neighbors. It has taken management 5 of those months to come to the conclusion that they cannot evict anyone for excessive noise, and the police refuse to do anything about it. Janelle told us they did not have any available units that were comparable to our current apartment, and she would check with her regional manager about termination of the lease at no cost to us. She then took almost 4 weeks to respond, and conveniently had one unit that was the same as ours that just gave notice, so she did not have to let us out of our lease. I would have gladly paid that $3500 to terminate my lease 6 months ago, but it’s not worth me moving at this point to another unit just to move out in 3 months when my lease is up. Avenue 5 continues with shady dealings and poor business practices. They show no integrity in their work and are only worried about their bottom line. Edit: management claims it was just regular noise, however they already issued two lease violations prior to that after waiting weeks to hear back from them. I don’t think they would issue violations for typical noise, but I wouldn’t put it past them. It’s nice to know they respond to their Google reviews faster than my emails and phone calls though."

"If you are thinking about moving to The Lakes at Eagle, part of your experience will be the occasional need for repair. I recently had a plumbing issue at my apartment. I believe it was Rick who did the work. He was very communicative and even put away the items I had pulled out of the cabinet when he was done with the work! Thank you! "I have lived here since 2020, and for the most part it's been fine. But accessing the package room has been so so horrible for a year now. When you pick up packages, you're supposed to type in an access code into an iPad in order for the package room to unlock. However, this tablet has been broken for months now. They sometimes prop the door open, which is fine, but they lock it up for the entire weekend and residents literally cannot get their packages. There have also been multiple instances of FedEx messaging me saying they are unable to deliver my packages because the tablet isn't working, and that's how they access package room as well. It's literally so ridiculous and it's been broken for months now and yet they do nothing to fix it and leave their residents out to dry. I had a package that I needed to have by today and I paid for expedited shipping just for the delivery driver to not deliver it because the tablet wasn't working. Unprofessional. I understand it not working here and there but it's been like this for a long time."

"Lived here 4 years before recently moving out. Had a FANTASTIC experience! Especially the newer management. They were flexible and understanding when wanting to work together. There were some things I was worried about from a "they're going to treat me corporate and I'm going to be stuck between a rock and a hard place" and they did a great job of working with me. Love the location and for the most part the amenities were great and usually always open/working. If I moved back to Boise this is probably the first place I'd look to move into! Thank you!"
