"My boyfriend and I had an appointment to look at these apartments and we drove across town in the crazy snow to get there. We arrive and no one is there, the office is closed due to the weather. They didn’t call, email or give us any notification that they were cancelling and going to be closed. So we wasted our time and dealt with the snow for nothing. How hard is it to pick up the phone and cancel. I feel like they are inconsiderate of peoples times. I would never rent from a place that pulls this nonsense. So Silver Ridge lost a possible tenant due to this. It’s ok though we found a better apartment that is cheaper and has way more amenities. Silver Ridge you guys suck!"
"We live here for about 2.5 years and when we finally got out of our last lease we felt a breath of relief. PRO: Very spacious, great appliances, office staff tries to help (but it’s not their fault for all the cons) CON: 1. No lease takeover unless you pay $4,000+. (not a made up number, it’s in the lease contract.) 2. Slow maintenance turnaround time (we had a dead rat in our wall for 4 days before it was taken care of. Had to remind office 2 times to get it out. (Not including the weekend) 3. No assigned parking so there is limited parking close to your building 4. You will pay for a dog park even if you don’t have a dog. 5. They charged us $550 of our deposit when we moved out cuz of “cleaning” (carpet, 7 hours charge to do move out cleaning, and walls) we are not messy people at all. 6. No on site staff 4/5 days. We always had to contact the sister location and we would have to physically drive over if we needed to speak in person. This is the management companies fault for not staffing their two locations better. The onsite staff is always kind and helpful (when they’re there). 7. Rent payment and online site has terrible flaws and errors they haven’t fixed, and if it has errors with payments, your bank account will get blocked permanently and you’ll have to always bring a check. 8. It takes police involvement in addition to reporting to complex management, to quiet down loud neighbors. There is a *major lack of enforcement* on the quiet hours rules. 9. Obviously apartment pricing is variable based on the market rates, however, their management company did not adjust prices in favor of the market and were not competitive at all. They were quite expensive in contrast to their lack of amenities they offer (small gym, awful parking, small grassy areas to bring children to, etc) The management company Peak Living is based out of California, so if you’re looking for locally owned and based management, this is not the complex for you. Hopefully these issues get handled appropriately for current residents, but we would not recommend this complex to anyone trying to look into moving here."
"Pros: Close to highway, relatively new apartment, good maintenance, friendly leasing officers who will try their best to help. Cons: The apartment is poorly constructed. It seems they hurried to complete it in 2020 because of the COVID demand. The soundproofing is terrible – you can hear your neighbors' footsteps. You might even have to call the police to intervene when your neighbors party loudly at 2 am. They use a fluctuating rental system where the rent is consistently high and keeps changing. At times, a 1-bedroom unit can be pricier than a 2-bedroom one. A friendly reminder: thoroughly review the rent stated in your lease. It could be higher than what you initially applied for. Make sure to keep a record for reference. The worst part is that they make promises, like offering a referral bonus, but they consistently provide excuses and never actually deliver it. Dealing with them wastes a lot of your time."
"I met with Vanessa yesterday to see if I could qualify to rent at these apartments. Vanessa was so kind in finding information about my Section 8 voucher!! I found out that I couldn’t afford living there because of my voucher limit. I do appreciate her printing out other Section 8 housing I can look into! I would have loved to live there but God must have somewhere else to live. Overall, it was a great experience!"
"Beautiful apartments, friendly staff, quiet community. Communication from the assistant manager Victoria has been extremely pleasant and consistent. She even helped us get a better rate on our unit when we were deciding on our move-in date. Highly recommend living here."
