"I left feeling some type of way and uncomfortable during the paperwork and process. I felt the finance manager seemed disappointed that I didn’t make a final decision right away even though I voiced my financial concerns. I called with my decision to get the car the next day and no response. I tried to give them another chance given my experience a few years ago. Update: I spoke with my nice Sales guy a couple weeks back. Crazy part he was told I was approved. I was sent the VIN to call my insurance to get coverage. I got every squared away prior to coming to the lot. I received a phone call the week before, the day prior and that morning to make sure to bring updated income report and insurance. I took an Uber to the car lot prepared to complete the paperwork. As soon as I got there my sales guy greeted me and told me everything was a go. I waited for a few minutes to meet with the finance manager. As I was sitting there, I noticed that my credit was being checked again, it didn’t seem right. The finance manager proceeded to tell me that I couldn’t get the car because discharge papers was needed and I didn’t get a full acceptance based on that…Now why that information wasn’t said on the phone the past week including the morning. Not only I experienced embarrassment but I was hurt despite the previous interaction of the process. I took off work to complete the process, lost money for the day and was embarrassed. I can’t believe that no body was honest enough to tell me the truth about the approval. Now I am without a car, I tried to get approval elsewhere and was told there was no way I was approved with those guidelines. What a slap in the face."
