"I called in a to go order at the Panera bread in New Market Square and when my order was picked up in store and left to arrive back at my destination. I discovered that my Cesar salad did not contain the butter romaine lettuce nor croutons. Instead it came with what looked like a small amount of arugula leaves and a Cesar dressing. We were not given a true receipt that would apply to my points but instead we received a blank receipt paper that had a hand written order that was taken by Trey, the manager himself. In which he confirmed with me that he placed my order when I called it in. It was disappointing that we were not informed that they ran out of ingredients to make a Cesar salad. They felt that a salad with a small amount of argula leaf and a Cesar dressing would define as a Cesar salad and call it good. I called back again and spoke with the manager, Trey. I asked if they usually call back the customers if they don't have the ingredients to make what they ordered or if the customer arrives in store, if they inform us of the inconvenience and give an option for the customer to pick something different, in which this happened before with me and I happily chose another option, instead of deciding for the customer what they will get, yet we will be paying in full for something we did not choose without our acknowledgement. Trey, the manager, confirmed that they ran out of ingredients and because they didn't know how to reach me, he couldn't call. But I would think that there would be some communication somewhere with the team to inform the customer that is picking up the food IN-STORE, to offer something else. I was even more disappointed with how inexperienced Trey sounded on the phone, I know that the original girl that answered the phone relayed the message to the manager that a customer is dissatisfied with the order so maybe his attitude was to keep his guard up. I've worked in the food industry long enough to understand the poor treatment of unhappy customers But I do know that the demeanor of a manager to resolve issues has a huge impact on how upset the customer will remain in. It seems like there was a lack of communication with the team which originates from poor management. The poor communication and tone in Trey's voice is what made this experience sad enough for me to actually make a post about this experience."

"Absolutely no way this is not a health code violation….. Receipt’s are typically made with toxic chemicals, and even if they’re not, that was touched by human hands which MAY or may not have been washed prior to getting the receipt….. placed inside a cup that will be filled with liquid for a customer to drink. Absolute YUCK… Do better."

"This place really never disappoints. I love the low key atmosphere. Food is DELISH. VERY friendly staff. Helpful. Clean restroom."

"The reason I leave a 4 instead of a 5 is due to the temperature of which the mac and cheese was served, it was quite cold. They have a nice selection of assorted teas and drinks, but i particularly am very fond of the hibiscus tea. The bakery always gives a pleasant little something extra towards the end of the meal."
