"I will never recommend this place to anyone! They place had no ventilation in the room. The hot tub was dirty. When we called about it they said it was just done. There was no hot water in the shower. The toilet didn't flush. We had to fix it ourselves. After go out for dinner and bring left overs back we turned all the lights off and then the TV and fridge dinner work. We woke up all the food ruined. When we tried talking to them about it the first lady told us maybe we r should have just left instead of staying all night. I even asked if they ment leaving while after drinking cause that's what we did at dinner and we ubered to and from dinner. She said yep. Ummm.. I don't think so! We have been trying to get ahold of the owner for a month now and she refuses to call us back. We call everyday and she is amazingly never in the office anymore, but we are told she only has Monday and Tuesday off."
"Ok so this isn't like staying at the Broadmoor in Colorado Springs or the some swanky down town resort. That said, I am 1. Thrilled with the room 2. grateful for the affordable price and 3. I am so proud and excited to support a family like the Radfords! My boyfriend had hurt his back putting new floors in our house and a hot tub was just the thing to help. I called around and having a tub in our room is AWESOME! The room is clean and adorably decorated. It is an old establishment. No way around it so if you want granite countertops and mints on your pillow pay out the nose to some other in town establishment. But if you want beautiful views, remote location and an amazing local business owner call Jarrid and Kelly! This is perfect for me and mine."
"This place is amazing! No, it’s not all brand new refurbished it’s definitely retro, but hot tub in your room! Amazing and the owners are wonderful! My husband and I come here 10 to 12 times a year and we adore it!"
"This hotel will be perfect for you IF you know what you are getting into . My best description for it overall is it's like going "glamping". Glamping to me is going camping in a rustic cabin, yes you have electricity but it's not full of bright makeup lighting or full of outlets for all your dozens of electronics, yes you have indoor plumbing but you might have to hold the flushing handle for 15 seconds to flush the toilet completely, yes the wallpaper is peeling, yes the flooring was a little sloped or soft in places, yes the furnishings are outdated. This is not a 5 star hotel. We stayed in room #6 which is the garden room. It has a hot tub in it. Not a garden tub with jets like most hotels call a hot tub. This is an actual hot tub. Yes the room was humid , there's a hot tub in it. Yes it was a little musty, there's a hot tub in it. We just cracked open one of our windows for a little bit and we were fine. The room was clean. The hot tub was clean. The hotel is a little off the beaten path but everything is within minutes from it. Great view of the lake. Feels like you are "glamping" within minutes from town. The only reasons I didn't give it 5 stars is because there isn't always a person available in the office, after checking in we went back in the office to ask a question and we waited 10 minutes but nobody came to the desk. We figured out what we needed to know ourselves, nobody was a the desk for checkout also, not a huge deal but I give 100 percent honest reviews so I needed to mention that. I also want to mention that we observed an opening in the wall by our hot tub that was being covered by a rock and fake plant that you could see the wallpaper and lights in the room next to us. That should be addressed for privacy and security."
"Filthy, moldy, and tacky. The hottub in the room is amazing, but it doesn't work when you do it like this. The tub clearly was not cleaned before us. Gross. And it didn't even work. We had no jets. Why wouldn't you put a vent above the tub to prevent the water damaged that was on every corner of the room? Why was it lined with carpet so the whole floor was soaked our entire stay? Why isn't there a sliding door to close off the tub and the moisture? There was a nasty smell on the sheets that followed us all the way back home. Never again."
