I told her what I wanted behind the counter and she literally blurted out "No!" Infront of another employee and customers. Then she argued with me over what color the chew can was. "Went in this evening to purchase a lottery and pack of cigarettes and my ID has been expired less than 30 days and due Covid and how hard it has been to get in and get one. The cashier was the first person to deny me for the tobacco product but still allowed me to purchase the lottery. I am clearly over 25 years old and found this to be absolutely ridiculous that I was denied. If we weren’t in the middle of a pandemic and it was easier to get an ID I would understand the denial but the fact that I was denied was very frustrating as nobody else has done this."
