"Every time I have an early flight out of Boise Airport I stop by River City for a coffee or London fog and a sausage egg and cheese biscuit. Never disappoints, service is friendly and quick, and the food/drinks are good and warm. Would really recommend a headed up cinnamon roll."

"The official Boise Airport website states River City Cafe opens at 4am. Twice in the last month I’ve had early morning flights, and I can tell you they DO NOT open at 4am. They opened their gate halfway around 4:15-ish the first time I stopped. I asked how long they would be and was told 10 minutes, so I waited until 4:35 and got breakfast and coffee. For my second flight on Nov. 5, 2023, no one would even acknowledge I (and three other potential customers) were waiting, so at 4:43 I asked if they would open soon. One of the women rudely responded they were going to open soon - I asked if they were aware of the posted 4am opening.. ? She said they’d had issues, and further advised that Cross Grain had a coffee station open; I thanked her for her rudeness and all 4 of us who’d been waiting backtracked to Cross Grain, as their coffee station had been out since 4:30. River City either needs to change posted hours to avoid false advertising or hire employees who are on time and represent good customer service. At this point the folks behind the counter do neither. I guarantee I am not alone in this sentiment."

"Be great if they had a egg and cheese only breakfast sandwich or burrito. The people are very nice and hard working."

"The sausage gravy and biscuit is not bad, coffee is okay. They are fair for the price."
