"I recently had a delightful meal at The Lively. The food was absolutely fantastic! The dishes were beautifully prepared, and the flavors were outstanding. I particularly enjoyed the Swardfish, which was rich in flavor and balanced. However, I do have a small piece of feedback regarding the service. While the staff were friendly and attentive, they seemed a little over-eager at times. Plates were cleared quite quickly, even when one guest was still eating. Additionally, we were frequently asked if everything was alright, which felt slightly disruptive to the conversation. It would be fantastic if the service could strike a balance between attentive and allowing guests to enjoy their meal at their own pace. Overall, I had a very positive experience at The Lively and would definitely recommend it for the amazing food. With a slight adjustment to the service style, I believe it could be an even more enjoyable experience for everyone."
"Tonight my husband and I decided to go to The Lively for our 5th wedding anniversary, and this is by far the best restaurant in Boise. The ambience, food and most importantly, our server Tim made this the best dinning experience we have ever had. He was knowledgeable, super friendly and helped guide us through their delicious menu. Absolutely go to Lively and make sure you request Tim for one of the best dining experiences you could have in Boise!"
"Has a quick lunch on Monday. Started with the potato bisque. Butter lettuce salad with grilled chicken and NY strip with chimichurri sauce. Saved best for last the Basque cheesecake and the fabulous warm soft chocolate chip cookie plate"
"We reserved the Chef's table to celebrate my wife's b-day on 6/24/23. The entire experience from the time we walked in was incredible. This is fine dining that we've never experienced before nor had the opportunity to experience while in Idaho and it was a treat. The staff were amazing and were both extremely attentive while also personable and welcoming. Highly recommend adding the wine pairing. Each course was beautifully presented and tasted phenomenal. If you want best-of-class fine dining without traveling to a major city, this is it!"
