"I got to view a session with my mom recently. I loved the whole experience, as did she. She was really responsive to pausing (which I helped with) and discussing who else was in the pictures, where it was taking place, or a memory it triggered. She also talked about how much she enjoyed the music and what the music reminded her of. I was excited to see the app, and the activities coordinator took pictures of us viewing our session which she uploaded to the app. I’m very excited about this app and I’m looking forward to when the iPhone app is rolled out. Overall, I think this is an amazing resource for families and patients suffering with dementia. I think this is a worthwhile experience for my mom, and benefits her own mental and emotional wellbeing. I also think it can help people with dementia to feel more connected and less isolated, remembering loved ones, family, friends, and pets."
