"I’m leaving a one star review because I genuinely don’t think anyone should take their car to be serviced at this place. I own a 2017 Subaru Crosstrek and prefer to have a dealership do my oil changes. The first time I brought my car in the exhaust wasn’t secured properly when they checked my air filter. It triggered my car to think there was a blockage and it wouldn’t start. I had my car towed, missed out on school/work, and had to pay $30 for a diagnosis. It was totally silly and frustrating to deal with. I called and they said they would do my next service free. Five months later when I was due for my oil change they said they had no recollection of the conversation. Most recently I had my car serviced they told me my engine oil and coolant were mixing and it would $6k to fix. No testing or diagnostic work was done. They weren’t even able to tell me what was actually wrong. Just wanted to take my engine out and “explore the leakage.” I took it in for a second opinion. For $3500 I was able to fix the issue after some basic testing was done to determine the problem (head gasket), overhaul all the maintenance due on my car (new clutch, spark plugs, etc.), and have all my fluids replaced. I think this place totally scams people. Overcharges for services and does a piss poor job at the basics. They couldn’t do an oil change right and quoted me $6k for a job they didn’t fully understand how to do."

"I have used this location for awhile being the Boise was so rude. I feel in love with the care they give Ben is awesome!!! Kept me in loop whole process through and so kind. I also had detailing done and she was “wow” moment. My car had so much hair I tried so hard to get out. She made my car look new I am still floored. Excellent care here"

"This service department is the best service department that I have ever worked with. I am a largely do-it-yourself guy, but I know when I am over my head with certain car projects. Today my transmission lights went off on my dash and Ben D. in the service department was amazing at solving my problem. Ben immediately diagnosed my forester's CVT issue and knowing it was going to a be a financial burden (my drivetrain warranty was over) he set out to help me in every way possible. First, he pulled up my entire service history and found that my car had previously thrown related transmission codes prior to my drive warranty ending. Then he called up Subaru of America and vouched for me on my behalf. As a result Ben and the folks at Treasure Valley Subaru saved me $2000 in parts and services. My jaw is on the floor y'all. Never in my life have I experienced such good service. Thank you Ben and thank you TV Subaru!"

"I got a flat tire on the freeway today. Luckily I was close to my dealership and when I got there, they came right out. They were so kind. I’m thankful they took me as a walk-in and helped me get back on the road! I will never purchase another vehicle from any other place. Every experience I’ve had here since I bought my car in 2020 has been nothing less than exceptional! THANK YOU!"
