"Loved this bookstore! If I lived closer I would be shopping here all the time!"
"After hearing that this location was not a traditional B&N and was much smaller, I visited it reluctantly and only because I needed to return something purchased at a much farther location. However, after being blinded for a minute by the superbright lights just inside the door (which I hope they can tone down sometime), I found I kind of liked it. It doesn't feel at all like a B&N but a completely different bookstore. There are a very few holdover features, but otherwise I would think it was an indie store. Being smaller, though, I found myself more interested in everything I saw, and I would have stayed longer to browse if I'd had time. I wish this location had more chairs, and I wish they would find some way to sell small cups of coffee as a little extra perk. I'll be back, though."
"Went to this store because the closest near me. Its a good LITTLE store for friends and singles/couples. However, it’s not much room there and you will feel cramped. The have a selective section of books compared to a large section. They are not as diverse either. If you like more selection and diverse feel go to the KC location."
"The store itself is amazing! My daughter loves going there to pick her favorite books and see all the other items they have! She picked this store over all the other possibilities we have. However the staff could definitely use some customer service skills!! Not one of the many employees walking around asked us if they could help us find anything. One guy working there almost ran into my daughter like she was in his way! Such a shame! Hopefully, management can work on this and become a better store overall."
"Tbh was expecting more variety. It was a smaller store than I the one that used to be by the mall in independence but it just lacked something and wasn't appealing to me (I didn't find what I was looking for so maybe that was it) and only one set of chairs and this kid was messing around on it so if you're trying to sit and read, you're going to have to sit on the floor. It's a Normal book store tho, not bad, just not amazing."
