Shawnee Station Apartments

"This has been my home of 20 years and recently yet again there is a new office staff, now I’m being evicted for non payment of rent but I’ve paid my rent. Does anyone have any advice that could help me? The office doesn’t respond to emails or phone calls and are never in the office during office hours. I use to love living here and now it’s hard to sleep because of stress from being evicted."

"Unprofessional staff had an appointment at 1pm to view a unit to get there for a note to placed on door that there on lunch but everyone is in the office and won’t answer the phone of come to the door. Had to give my info to a maintenance person that was helpful to come to the door and explain. Worst first impression"

"I have been a resident since 2016 this place constantly changes management and maintenance staff more than once a year. Maintenance orders get closed out without being completed. Thermostats that they installed over two years ago have not worked properly. Running up your electric bill. I have complained several times to management and maintenance and the problem has yet to be fixed. Have put in multiple service request for thermostat to be fixed and yet almost 2 years and it’s still not working correctly My front door was replaced almost 2 years ago. Still waiting on them to fix the door frame almost after two years again and putting service request in and they keep getting completed without any work being done."

"If I could get away with doing zero stars I would. I resided at this place for 3 years. The entire time I was not at peace. I had three different neighbors living above me. Two of the three made my living there a LIVING HELL! Of course I stress my concerns of the noise level, NOTHING WAS DONE by Management. I ABSOLUTELY HAVE NOTHING GOOD TO SAY ABOUT THIS APARTMENT COMPLEX. The only good thing about the apartment, is that it was in a very convenient area. That is the ONLY thing good I have to say. I was told that my apartment was an upgrade, I am still trying to figure out what was the upgrade. I literally had painted cabinets, there was a hole where the kitchen sink was located, my washer and dryer did not fit in my w/d area. Literally my dryer was sitting in my hallway. Let’s talk about the parking, there is never ever parking available, I would literally race home so I could get a parking spot versus parking on the side where my vehicle could get hit or towed. Oh yea, let’s talk about the dog park or should I say what dog park? There was no gate for the dog park, they hardly ever had baggies for the dog. If they considered that a dog park, that was a sad one. Let’s just say we were not able to enjoy the “dog park”. Again, I have nothing good to say about these apartments. I can’t say if the current staff is on point but I just feel like a lot these apartments only want your money and do nothing to make sure there tenants are happy. I could say a lot more but it’s not worth it. I will NEVER refer anyone to these apartments. I have lived at other apartment complex’s and have NEVER had to deal with the issues I dealt with. I cannot be more happier in the decision I made to move. I wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy. #HORRIBLEPLACETOLIVE"
