"Walter the maintenance man WAS the BEST thing to this property. When he left literally everything went down hill. Tina the office manager used to be VERY hateful BUT you had to hand it to her, she got things done! Now she’s gone too & this place is trash. I’m not a fan of the guys who replaced Walter because for starters, when Walter gave his word, HE STUCK TO IT & fixed literally EVERYTHING… No delays … No excuses… didn’t need a work order… & to add to all that he witnessed to people about JESUS!!! Can’t get any better than that! Regarding the office managers that have replaced Tina, well let’s just say that Dana & Nina are not very honest, promising things but never following through & never getting things done. I’ve had stuff broken in my unit for MONTHS & they’ll stay that way b/c I’m not about to pay out of pocket for their poor appliances or shoddy work. It’s wild a maintenance man literally carried this complex on his back for YEARS & in his absence it’s crumbling. I didn’t know they sold to somebody else but they clearly don’t care about residents & leave us hanging like we’re nothing. They don’t know you when you need work orders done but if hold out on that rent, they’ll remember you exist real quick then!"

"East Pointe Realty acquired Oakland Heights from McCormack Baron which is the worst thing that could happen for residents. The staff has changed & lies to tenants constantly about things getting done… THAT NEVER HAPPEN. They want rent on time but you’re literally expected to fix ANYTHING that goes wrong YOURSELF with zero reimbursement"

"You’ll come because you love the place and leave because you hate the place. No way to contact any one because no one is working in office. The maintenance takes too long since they have no one in office delegating task. maintenance doesn’t do much all day. The company use low grade appliances that break all the time and replaced with even cheaper models. Long time residents don’t get anything new/refreshed in the unit. Also the homeless population in the area is RIDICULOUS ! Transient people scavenging the neighborhood and stealing from residents ! … corporate does not care all they want is $$ could care less about people’s quality of living !"
