"PLEASE READ Don’t waste your money. These apartments are the one of the worst places to live in kc. They are money hungry. My ceiling has leaked stanky water twice this year and no one has yet to fix the issue. Management is horrible they harass you for rent if your late and threaten they are gonna evict you when your not even 30 days late. The walls in my living room has black mold in the corners. The wall is so brittle you could push the wall in literally. The carpet in my living room is so moldy and sticky. My bathroom is molded out completely including shower but they knew that & just painted over it. The stove… is at least 30 years older than me and only one side of the stove top works and now I have to pay rent plus a extra 30 dollar “convenience” fee I’m glad I only have a month left. Landmark is a terrible apartment management company all together."

"Pretty much a scam with over 500$ in application fees you will only get 300$ back if.denied They don't Intend to move you in they probably make.more off the fees monthly than they do from renting the place Do not apply here 500$ application fee for a sub par facility and they can't even tell me why I was denied Canyon Creek can go.to.hell"

"I lived here for 4 years and a half. The manager and staff have always been kind to me. The apartments are older from the 70's but they are fine. I really appreciate the maintenance staff for taking care of me when I had needs. A feature I absolutely love about this place is the ability to use the rent cafe app. It's paperless and it works great. Any time I needed to pay my rent, it was so easy to plug and play, plus if you verify your bank account through the app then you won't need to be charged a fee to use a debit card. Thank you Canyon Creek for being my Kansas City home. Go Chiefs!"

"I have been a resident of Canyon Creek Apartments since March of 2019 after a few months of staying here I began to notice a dripping sound so I called maintenance they concluded the it was water coming inside from outdoors so they put some cox to repair. However a few weeks later the same problem occurred. I contacted the office to report the problem they sent someone else out to take a look, that maintenance man applied more cox to what was suppose to be the problem. However the same problem was still happening so they sent out another maintenance man and he went outside I had to point out to him the clearly the problem wasn't outside but more than likely from the above apartment. The maintenance man went to check and found a frozen condenser that had caused a leak to my apartment. I was told that day in July 2018 that they would be back to fix the damage done to my apartment. Today Jan 6, 2020 my apartment still hasn't been fixed. I have made several requests."

"PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS APARTMENT AND STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE AND DON'T BE SORRY. 1. Meanest, most dishonest, most careless, worst attitude office people I could ever imagine. We arrived at the apartment luggage's and a 7-month baby around 12 but they said it will be ready after 3 PM and they even did not let us sit inside the office. My wife and my 7-month baby had to wait outside in the sun for 3 hours. But the apartment should have been ready in the morning as I paid rent for that day, but we did not receive the apartment until 3 PM. 2. All buildings have very bad ventilation system. other tenants in my building smoke MARIUANA from early morning to midnight and all the smell come to our apartment from Air conditioning systems. I ended up blocking all the ventilation with tape and we are living without AC in 100 F. Now we including my 7-month baby are being passive MARIUANA SMOKERS. I complained in the office, but these people don’t do anything other than playing with their cell phone. DO NOT RENT APARTMENT HERE BECAUSE YOU DO NOT WANT YOUR FAMILY MEMBERS TO BE PASSIVE MARIUANA SMOKERS. After 4 days I sent my family to my mom in VA. I will rent another place next month and bring them here. 3. While I talked them and confirmed for short term lease. but after signing the contact form I found that they made the contact for 1 year and now I will have to pay early termination fee just because I trusted these lairs. 4. Dirtiest, filthiest, ugliest apartment I have ever seen. May items are broken, water leakage from toilet flush, all closet doors are falling apart, balcony is not usable, water blockage on all basins......... I complained multiple time they kind of ignored me and kept playing with their cell phone."
