"I had lived in this apartment for almost 3 years. The management, maintenance, communication, surrounding and services are excellent. I was really happy living at fairways. They recently constructed play area for kids. I give a 4.5 rating to this community."

"I have never wanted to give a review zero stars in my life but after the experience I had at this apartment complex, zero would be too good for them! I have never had customer service this poor, and this disrespectful in all of my life. I was looking for an apartment for my 84-year-old mother who is moving to Kansas City from Lawrence. We had a 10 o’clock appointment for a tour and arrived five minutes early. We went into the leasing office, which was unlocked, and the individual there said it wasn’t 10 o’clock yet and we would have to leave and come back. I told her that it was already 90° outside and I wasn’t about to walk my elderly mother with mobility issues back out to the car. She said it didn’t matter, that I was going to have to take her out anyway. Obviously, that was absolutely ridiculous and told her so. She then proceeded to argue with me, rather than do her job and get ready to show the apartment. Between her unprofessional behavior and disrespectful manner, there was no way we were going to stay there. This individual should be FIRED immediately! If this is the way they treat their prospective residents, I would NOT, under any circumstances, live here. They get - 5 on their review."

"One of the best community and great place to reside in Overland Park. I have lived in couple of communities in Overland Park since 2016 and this place is my favorite. Any maintenance issue is addressed quickly. Maintenance staff is friendly. Community is kept neat and clean. Amenities are ok. Pool area is good (also has jacuzzi). Fitness center can be improved. Was a resident from 2019 - 22. Had to move out due to non availability of an upgrade. Moved in again last month. No issues as of now. Same good experience. Would like mention special thanks to Dominique for making our leasing process easy and seamless. She is one of the best leasing agents I have interacted so far."

"We’ve been here for only one week but already so so frustrated with the admin and how they deal with issues!! If you’re considering this apartment complex, this is your sign to change and find something else!! When we first moved the house wasn’t even cleaned properly! I am 8.5 months pregnant, I had to come in put in maintenance requests and make sure it was done! When I mentioned it to the employee that the toilets aren’t cleaned, she argued with me that they are “water marks” but the housekeeper had no issues cleaning it, it just wasn’t cleaned from the previous renters. Their maintenance team is their saving grace at the moment, they are super helpful and actually want to make sure you’re happy with your stay. I cannot say the same for the admin staff at the clubhouse. We paid for the carport which we cannot use because someone random has parked there. When we contacted the office they couldn’t even give us a temporary shade parking for our car until our carport is free. I want to give it no stars, it is literally the worst place in how they handle issues but maintenance team helped me. They just don’t want to deal with you after you’ve signed a lease. Please take this as a sign to not consider them! We have to put up with them for 6 months, Im annoyed thinking how much worse it’s going to get when they can’t even solve small issues."

"Current resident. I’ve been living with my walls open for over one month and management still has no timeline, detailed compensation plan or a plan to transfer me. After having several inspections in my unit, the apartment is still bidding the vendor, so they are unable to provide me with any timeline or any plan but “it will take a while”. It took them over one week after tearing my wall to cover up with temporary plastic and leave industrial size air filter. So I was left vulnerably to all the possible toxins during the time. And if it needs an industrial air filter to keep air clean, should I be sleeping in that room in the first place? After facility manager and district manager came by to inspect the unit, they verbally promised to provide with timeline and compensation in one day but it took two weeks for to get the same generic answer even after I sent an email to an escalation contact."
