Woods At Windrose Creek

"My experience at the Woods apartments has been good. I've been here for about 3 years and moved from a two bedroom to a one bedroom here. I just wish the noise insulation was better (living room). Overall I have good neighbors. I do get cigarette smoke in the bathroom only, from my neighbor below. Maintenance has come out twice to calk below the bathroom sink and around the dryer vent. Maintenance has been extremely responsive since I've been here. The Woods have been very understanding on several things with me. They allowed me to bring my fridge here which a lot of apartments don't allow. I purchased a door guard and they had their maintenance install it for me. There have been other things that they have been very understanding on. They do things to upgrade the property like water sprinklers, grill and fire pit next to the pool. They also have Google fiber which is awesome. Not every apartment complex has this. Diane (manager), Jill and Carol work in the office and have all been very nice and professional. I would recommend the Woods. Update=10-3-21: It's been 7 years and all continues to be well at the Woods Apartments. The maintenance dept have been awesome and respond quickly with issues (Brian & Kevin have been so helpful). The maintenance team has been better than any apartment maintenance team I have ever had an experience with. The office continues to be responsive to any concerns I have. I still continue to recommend the woods, but if you have small children the property is not really set up with a play ground or a place for the kids to play (I don't have small kids). However, there is a tennis court (within the complex) and a sand volleyball court at the entrance of the complex. There is also a sidewalk to go on walks around the complex."

"Friendly and nice management, the maintenance crew is quick and friendly. Haven't come across any bad neighbors. Appliances a bit outdated but to be expected if you looked at the pics, price is reasonable. If you live by the units by the woods you'll get a lot of bugs coming at the screen door on your balcony/window which isn't fun."

"We lived here for 3 years and its an ok place to live but I won't be recommending it to anyone I know. The appliances are older and not very efficient. The maintenance staff is nice and they are quick to get things fixed which was good because we had things break a lot there. Our apartment flooded majorly 2 different times, once right before we moved out and it continued to leak onto the carpet several times literally up to the day we turned in our keys, we didn't pay to have the carpet cleaned because it leaked so we thought they were going to replace them but instead they charged us for the cleaning and took it out of our deposit. Also there are a bunch of feral cats that live in the woods behind the buildings and our upstairs neighbor would feed them and dump cans of wet cat food onto our patio, tried notifying the office and they said they'd take care of it but it continued. And we had a mountain bike stolen from the back patio and some flower pots taken from in front of my door so your stuff isn't safe. So if you move in and you get building 801 Apt B just know the carpets weren't new when we moved in and they aren't new now!"

"I have happily lived here for a few years now. Some appliances are a bit dated but are quickly fixed or replaced if there is a problem. We have gotten a new furnace and dishwasher since moving in. The location is great. The maintenance and office staff are the best!! Always friendly and helpful."

"I know online reviews are tricky because you don't know how true they are or if another complex posts negative things that are untrue. This is a 100% legit post. This is my first apartment experience after a divorce and I was not looking forward to going back into an apartment situation. I love this place! The pool/barbeque area is in great shape and the workout room is so nice to have. The maintenance staff is very timely. But most of all the staff is so nice. I had a small issue with a noisy neighbor and it was taken care of immediately. Yes, I knew going into an apartment situation that you would have that noise from people beside you or above you which cannot be avoided, but when it became a bit much, it was dealt with and the issue was resolved. The grounds are always clean with no trash. The unit I have backs up to woods and it is simply beautiful. They also have washer/dryers in every unit. Great place to live."
