"The environment and curriculum i would give 5 stars, but the misleading information and false statements from the director herself makes this rating low. If you're considering LHA, expect to be misinformed. I specifically chose LHA because I was TOLD they followed Raytown school closings and this ive learned is not so and absent weeks are expected to be paid for. What exactly would I pay for when my child is NOT there! Especially during the holiday that was, as the director claimed, would be a closed period following the school district out days. Plus the horrible weather, which they too were closed for, but I'm still expected full pay for my unattended child. Had I been given all this information during the tour, I would have left! This place was costing me on some weeks half my pay but I kept at it for my son's benefit. Not anymore. Only a fool pays someone 800 a month for nothing. Not one single day of him being there. Absolutely ridiculous and no wonder she lied during my tour! No person with a brain would agree to such an atrocity! Don't let the fact its at a church fool you. Money is all that matters there I've learned."

"My son has attended the school for about 4 months now and it's apparent LHA is held to a high standard. The staff are very nurturing and you get a real sense of community there. In my opinion, the school excels in the following areas - care, education, and safety. The food menus are exquisite for a children's learning facility as the kids are given a good variety of quality meals. The facility is very clean and the staff are careful to make sure temperatures are checked and hands are washed as children enter class rooms. Also, masks are worn by the staff and children which I can appreciate during COVID. In a short amount of time I can tell that my son is receiving a well-rounded learning experience. Overall, I could not be more pleased."
