"I was seen in August of 2023 and was basically told there was nothing severe wrong with me. I month later I was diagnosed with crps. Four months later a MRI confirmed neuropathy in my foot. Would never recommend this facility to anyone."

"My husband was seen for essential tremor re-programming 2 days ago. He has deep brain implants that St. Luke's has NOT been able to program properly for the past 2 years! Nurse Alycia Elliot helped him tremendously. We are SO grateful to have found KU Neurology!!!!!!"
"Warning for all with any neurological issue whether it's MS, MD, etc. Find another clinic because this one is the worst in the US. Do not be fooled with MDA (Muscular Dystrophy Association) saying they'll be there for you either. I still have the email from one of their reps stating all beneficial scholarships and funds that help cover the costs of medical equipment like canes and wheelchairs and help with testing and treatment were all dissolved to pay the neurology team. Initially when I cancelled all future appointments with KU I wasn't going to leave a review. But now, it's been over a month since my last "appointment" which was a 4 minute video call Dr. Farmakidis and I've paid 3 bills already from KU. When do the bills stop! One "appointment" has generated 3 seperate bills demanding payment. And your scheduler wondered why I told her I wasn't coming back because I can't financially support this. Your financial aide is a joke to everyone and covers nothing. Your team DOES NOT CARE about the patients. If your team cared, I'd have been able to tell the doctor I was diagnosed with a heart condition this last year after two ER visits, a CT scan, and a cardiac echo. All on top of progressive muscle weakness that has resulted in several falls and injuries. But Dr. Farmakidis was only focused on reviewing how many siblings I had and saying to go see my "primary care doctor" for no good reason and completely forgetting the fact I haven't had a primary care doctor in years. KU couldn't even call me by my legal name. At least this review shows who I am legally. For anyone wondering, my name was legally changed 2 years ago. Lack of respect to your patients when they have legal documents and amended documents and you still can't respect their name."
"I saw one of the neurology docs in either 2020 or 2021 but I got brushed off, accused of doctor shopping, told I was just a stress case and it was all in my head. Turns out I actually I have a painful connective tissue disorder. Doctor's need to do better at being caring and compassionate we don't want to have health issues but it does happen I wanted to just get better but they did not listen. Each should instead consider how fortunate they are to not have health problems plus have the willingness to help and maybe learn more in the process."
