"The 2 stars are for the therapist there they are great! Intake and scheduling staff is unknowledable and unprofessional and if you speak on it to other staff they cover for them as if you are wrong. When you are in that type of facility if you do not know how to deal with different types of people you should not work there. It makes the company look bad and ghetto."
"Some of the people that work here are good, but beware that some of them will push the trans stuff on your child behind your back. My kid's therapist was the one that told her about a gender pathway program without my knowledge."
"The first available appointment they had for an intake meeting for my child was around 2 to 3 weeks out, which I was prepared for as I am aware that mental health services are in high demand right now. In that time, I received emails with forms that I was required to fill out and return however, I was unable to do so from my computer and had to go in person, which I did. A woman went through each form and explained what they meant and told me to have his health insurance card ready at the appointment the following day. The next day, we met online for our scheduled Zoom appointment and went over all the paperwork and began discussing our concerns. Only then did the therapist inform me that they only accept medicaid, which we do not have. I think 2 weeks should have been enough time for them to let me know they don't take private insurance. I do not appreciate the colossal waste of time that could have been easily avoided. But to that I say, I believe we probably avoided a disaster."
"I had an extreme case of PTSD when I came here. I worked with a psychiatrist, a therapist and a case manager every week. I was too afraid to leave my home, lost all of my friends and completely shut down.... After a few years of working with this team, I found myself accomplishing more and more every day. Now, I have a job that I absolutely love, I go out and hang out with my new friends and I have a wonderful fiance and two goofy dogs. I couldn't be more grateful to PACES and their service workers. I appreciate everything you all have done for me. I can't say my PTSD is gone, I don't think it will ever go away. But, they helped remind me that there is still good on this earth and you shouldn't hide from it. I hope that they can one day help you as well. There is light at the end of the tunnel."
"We have worked with paces for almost a year now, it has really helped our family with our issues with our little guy! My son was diagnosed with adhd and anxiety, and has a rough time with school. Our caseworker is Rebecca and she’s absolutely amazing and really supportive. We also do therapy with Andrew and he has been great as well. They have a lot of resources for families, I would definitely recommend for other families struggling with their children!"
