"The most caring Dr I have been to.. actually listens to me and cares about what I say and is very nice"
"The two receptionists, Mikayla and Marsha, are incredibly rude and unprofessional. They are dressed in street clothes and are not well groomed or bathed. They refuse to wear masks. They are obviously unaware of their spatial surroundings, as they loudly badmouth their clients after every completed phone call. After hanging up, they discuss with one another the details of the phone call - including patient names, medications that they are prescribed, and intimate details of the phone call, such as whether a patient was crying or not. They show absolutely zero empathy and have no regard for the fact that they are broadcasting intimate, personal information into a small, crowded waiting room. Edit: Dr. Anya himself is an incredible physician and amazing caretaker of his patients. He spent time to listen to my thorough answers to his questions, which resulted in a correct diagnosis of my condition. The treatment plan has been highly successful and life-changing. He is always a joy to confide in and gives wonderful advice both medically and psychologically. He is diligent with continuing treatment: I visit him between every 3 months and 6 months depending on how I am doing. He orders blood tests and changes medications when needed. Most importantly, he listens to patient concerns and responds to them with his expertise. I trust him with my mental healthcare and am endlessly grateful for the service he provides. After seeing my review, Dr. Anya’s office has implemented changes to curb the behavior of the receptionists described above."
"Hes amazing. He took the time to listen and understand what's going on in my life. He's a good man and psychiatrist. I wish he took medicaid for my mother to see him."
"If you have gender dysphoric disorder and are trying to get rid of it with medication through a psych, don’t bother wasting your time here. I simply needed med management of the same meds I am already prescribed, and they refused me based solely on the fact that I identify with a different gender DUE TO GENDER DYSPHORIC DISORDER…. everyone wants trans people to get mental help, well I tried and this facility turned me away. Simply because the doctor is uncomfortable with trans people in general. He has no problem treating my immediate family, but has a problem treating me? I’m sorry but as a professional psychiatrist aren’t you supposed to help the mentally ill and people with mental disorders? I really think the doctor should consider going back to medical school if he isn’t mentally equipped or knowledgeable enough to treat all types of mentally ill people."
"NOT COMPETENT TO WORK WITH INDIVIDUALS WITH ADHD. I went to Dr. Anya for ADHD. It took me over six months to get a release of information from my prior doctor(hint, hint) As of my last visit they hadn’t gotten any response back He asked me a number of questions that seemed more relevant to assessing my current cognitive abilities. He told me that in his professional opinion because I can do things like “spell world backwards” and perform some basic math in my head that I didn’t have ADHD. I offered to go get tested somewhere else that specialized in ADHD and he declined. I have a niece that’s an MFCC and likes him and has referred patients to him and him so he may be good in other areas but he is not competent in and no one should see him for ADHD."
