"I will say the students and staff were incredibly kind but I have doubts towards the competence of the overseeing doctor. I was prescribed only 5 days of antibiotics for an ear infection which will probably not clear it completely and I was told to come back for possible hypertension when the readings were conducted manually by students and not repeated by the overseeing doctor or experienced person. They seemed like very nice people but I don't trust the type of care you receive here. *Update* I was both right and wrong. I followed up elsewhere a week later and they said the antibiotic dose was appropriate, although my ear will need some time to finish draining. It also turns out I do not have hypertension at all, the second doctor took readings and I also tried several pharmacy cuffs and none indicate hypertension. It's concerning that Jaydoc was recommending blood pressure medicine based on inaccurate student readings. If you must come here, please be careful and ask the doctor to repeat any blood pressure readings instead of just going on the student readings who are still learning how to do it."

Each patient is triaged and treated or referred depending on the capacity of the clinic. Tuesdays are alternating specialty nights for diabetes maintenance and women's health. The clinic shares space with Southwest Family Care. A safety net clinic serving the community for decades. Jay doc is a lifesaver for the medically underserved."
