"Clean, well organized little store with a nice product selection! Fun to look around in. And they’ll work with you on ordering gear you need if they don’t have it in stock. Customer service is attentive and helpful. However I’ve noticed the past few times, the big guy who’s always there is pouty and just straight up rude to the poor other workers, to the point where it’s very noticeable from a customer standpoint. It makes the shopping experience uncomfortable. If you’re going to bully your coworkers, at least don’t do it in front of all the customers in the store. Just writing this hoping to bring it to the attention of management so this can be looked into."

Considered buying a lot of my products online but after stopping in to see what they offer and ask questions it was a no brainer that this is where I want my money to go. "I went in to look for hiking boots. The lady was really helpful and attentive, and helped me try on multiple pairs while explaining pros and cons. I’m kind of picky and due to the market there weren’t tons of options—anyways I ended up loving a pair but when I tried them on we realized my foot is too wide for those to be comfortable for me. She could’ve just sold them to me but she recommended that I find a shoe that’s wider so I can have good circulation while hiking. That built my trust with her and if I need to get gear in the future I’d love to try them out again."

"I visited this store about two days to purchase sunglasses and other equipment to help me throughout my field season during my graduate program. My first visit was great the two women there were amazing and extremely helpful. However today, I was met with a man who did not want to help me at all. I wanted to exchange the sunglasses for a more expensive pair but he did not want to work with me for an exchange even with a receipt in hand. I’ve worked retail for many years and there many ways to satisfy a customer. I do absolutely everything I could to make sure my customers are happy, within reason. This just showed how much this store appreciates their customers. For a local shop I expected better service. In fact I hear that this store is a let down from what it used to be. This trip confirmed that quickly."
