He even fixed shoe repairs gone bad for me at other places I had work done when i was away from Kansas. And the price i am paying today is very close to what I paid here years ago--this brings in the value part. There are many places in Kansas way more expensive, like more than double what they charge here, and I don't believe the work is any better, in fact Acme Shoe rebuilders will most likely be better.
