"My boyfriend and I stay here every time we take a weekend trip to Branson and love it. The rooms are exceptionally clean, free breakfast is included and the location is great. Off the strip so it's not too crowded or busy, but close enough to be minutes away from everything that we want to do! The prices are also very affordable. (55 per night is what we paid on our last trip). In addition to everything else the service provided is top tier. I'm not sure if he is the owner but the front desk clerk that we see every time we come to visit is super helpful and goes out of his way to make your experience good. I would definitely recommend Capitol O to any of my friends or family. Thank you!!"
"Make sure to always get the refundable option!! We booked a 5 night stay at this hotel. The beds were made, however nothing else was really clean. There was hair in the bathroom, crumbs on the floor, stains on the sheets and the mirror was dirty as well. We were also informed upon arrival that there was no breakfast offered due to the lack of people staying. That isn't a huge deal, but still wish we knew ahead of time. Needless to say, we decided to stay at another hotel. We did not do the refundable option when booking online for Captial- O, which we now regret! So lesson learned!"
"***** please read before booking!!*** We stayed in rooms 115 and 116. Upon check in, the man at the front was decent when we checked in, but the keys to the 2 rooms we booked wouldn’t work and when my husband asked for help he said “that is your fault, the lock sensors are just sensitive” and we had to spend the night just HOPING they’d work as it was a 50/50 shot we’d be able to get in. It was downhill from there. We checked out the room and the sheets (I won’t even call them blankets, they were so thin) had holes in them, and iron burns on them. We booked 2 adjoining rooms, but the door between them was screwed shut. All that we could have lived with… but, back to the beds. Around 2:30 in the morning my toddler and I woke up to BEDBUGS on his back. Yes, plural. Multiple. They had bitten me multiple times as well. They didn’t even try to hide when we turned the light on.. when we went to the front desk to see about a refund for the remaining nights, and for room 115 since we did not sleep in that room after finding the bugs, HE SAID WE BROUGHT THEM and genuinely did not want to refund us for that room for the night. 10+ bedbugs did not hitch hike on my toddler to come stay at this raggedy motel. He said “both beds in both rooms are unmade, so you have to pay for both. Then, he informed me that no one had stayed in that room for months… which explains the lack of timidness from the hungry little pests, but was off putting because WHY are there still bedbugs in there after all that time?!?Just an awful experience! We finally got our money back for the infested room, checked our things over and over again and got the HECK outta there!"
"First of all we booked a handicap room months ago and we got here and didn’t have one available. So our 90 year grandma had to climb in and out of the tub for a shower. Second of all the floor is gross black feet gross bed in very uncomfortable unless you like a very firm bed and then you will love it. The bathroom light and fan combo on the 2nd night sounded like a bird was stuck in it. It squeaked very loudly and the second night we only have 3 towels for 4 people. The shower head was for very short people and hard to wash your hair. My daughter went back in for a jacket and the cleaning lady was complaining about our towel usage and my daughter overheard. No ice machine you gotta go to the front desk. And last but not least ROACHES!!!!! Big and small they got them all. I won’t be staying here again."
"The first thing I do when I check into a motel is go into the room and move the bedding to get to the mattress and box spring to check them for signs of bed bugs. I am proud to say this room was free of any bugs. It was clean, the fridge and microwave were clean. My only complaint about the room would be no coffee pot if I did not travel with my own. The complaint about the motel itself was no ice machine that we seen and the breakfast was not very good, but for me it was fine as I only had a waffle and a bowl of cereal. If you are looking for a meal with meat, potatoes, etc like most motel breakfasts you won't find that, they may have had eggs but I am not sure. They do have cappucinno but it tasted watery and my husband said the juice was overly sugary tasting. The staff was great, the man in the office was always there. I wondered if he ever left the front desk or the sofa in the lobby. This is a good thing so please do not misunderstand, he was there, he was friendly, he was attentive. We stayed 3 nights and he is the only one we seen at the desk. Good price, good service, good rooms, highly recommend!"
