"So, I am going to highlight the positives then I will share our negative experience. Positives - We stayed in the room with the double bunk beds and it was an adorable room. I loved the layout and it was really fun for our kids. The main area with the bar and breakfast was good. Pretty simple but good! Also the staff that was running the breakfast was wonderful. The front desk staff was very pleasant. Negatives - The room and bathroom were dirty (small things missed). It didn't bother us too much honestly but we just noticed. The breakfast bar kept running out of food so they would be microwaving things and running them out, but everyone would grab them quickly. The worst part was we were double charged for our room (between Expedia and the lodge). We stayed in February and had been trying to get a refund. I had left Sheldon (one of the managers) multiple messages, with no response. We were told from staff that we would hear from him on X day, and it would pass with no word from him. It was very frustrating for over a month trying to get our refund and receiving no calls back. Not even a courtesy call to let us know that our refund was issued nor an apology that it took them almost a month to refund us or to not even hear back. Terrible management & customer service on Sheldon's end."
"I wanted to love this place so much & it is very cute. They did a great job on the remodel - everything is decorated beautifully. The lobby is so cozy. The rooms are SO small. We had a family of 4 in a room with two full size beds & two small loft beds. There was just no space in there. Also, our room had a very musty, moldy smell the entire two day stay. The pricey coffee I ordered from the coffee bar wasn’t hot - had to microwave it. On our second morning there the only breakfast option at 9 am was bread. Nothing else. I tried to buy two bottles of wine off of their wine menu & they didn’t have one & the other she said wasn’t cold even though it needed to be for serving. Also, it seemed a little front of the house understaffed. We did enjoy the pool & the hot tubs. The creek was cute & the fireplace areas, the highway noise was unfortunate but not awful. I give this place 3.5 stars, but Google doesn’t allow that."
"We had a wonderful stay at the Ozarker Lodge! Before our stay, I inquired about dietary restrictions with the complimentary breakfast as I am gluten and dairy free. The staff was quick to respond with some options for me. We ordered the sweetheart package which included wine, bath salt and chocolate. I was blown away with the thoughtfulness of whoever put our sweetheart bag together as it included treats I could have since I couldn’t have the chocolate. I didn’t ask for this but they knew of my dietary restrictions and accommodated without me even mentioning it! I was very appreciative of that. We also enjoyed the aesthetic of the hotel. They did a great job with making everything feel cozy. We enjoyed wine and games in the lobby. I can’t recommend this place enough! We will definitely be back whenever we come back to Branson!"
"The Ozarker Lodge is the stay you have been looking for in Branson! The staff members are very accommodating and friendly. They made sure my stay was comfortable and that I had everything I needed. The rooms are small but have everything you could need - including incredibly comfy mattresses and blankets. For someone who usually has a hard time sleeping anywhere other than their own bed, this was such a relief. The lobby is adorable and cozy - great place to get work done on my laptop. If you enjoy board games, you will be able to pick one from their large selection in the lobby. The soaking tubs are in a tucked away spot sitting right next to a creek making it all the more relaxing. I did not get to try out the pool, but I look forward to experiencing this during my next stay at the Ozarker Lodge! Book your next trip - you won't regret it, and the staff will treat you like family!"
"This place is adorable. We loved the outdoor heated soaking tubs the perfect place to relax and end the year. There’s also a heated pool open year round as well. The landscaping and fire pits around the property are perfect. The rooms are clean and keep with the mountain lodge feel. The main lobby has a big fireplace in the middle of it is very inviting with a small bar, coffee and snack menu and different games to play. All of the staff we encountered were so friendly you felt like you were hanging out with friends you have known forever. Thank you Ali and Marshall for helping us get 2024 off to a great start!"
