"Can't say enough about our team in the Orthopaedic Clinic! Our daughter was diagnosed with hip dysplasia at birth and Dr. Berglund and Kim (NP) were nothing short of wonderful. Kind, compassionate, caring. We are so very thankful for them."
"Why would an NP scold a mom for abusing the ambulance system? 4 y/o child anemic with a 2 hour nose bleed, it was unsafe for mom to drive with a freaked out bleeding child in the backseat. That's not abusing it's using tax payers money as it is to used. I'm an RN too, never would I talk to a patient like that. HORRIBLE. I hope her child never gets cancer. I'm a firm believer in karma."
"Negative review* So we got sent to children’s mercy hospital Kansas. Upon arrival we checked in at front desk for a direct admit. Check in went fine. Instantly got sent to floor 3 where our room was ready and a nurse took us to our room. When we got to the room they had an incubator and informed us he would be in that for the stay and asked us to get him undressed so they could put him in there. They already had the lights on and it was heating up. Next thing you know, they’re weighing him, asking us all these questions and calling us Cayson.. like who is Cayson this is Braylon. So then I’m like, what is going on did she just put all the wrong notes on the wrong patient. I checked our patient board in the room and they have a 5 year old girl (full name) on the board with all her information. I looked at Courey and said do they even know who we are? Instantly the doctor walks in and goes “Oh Wow! he’s big for 4 days old.” I said 4 days? He’s 4 months! She said oh we show he’s 4 days old, I think I have my patients mixed up. She then figured out who we were and started going on about how we’re making bottles wrong and just very nagative. After she left, we talked and decided we did NOT want to stay at this hospital anymore. So I let the nurse know we want to check ourselves out. She sent the doctor back in who then started bashing our doctor at Redwood calling her just a nurse practitioner who doesn’t know what she’s doing. Which only made me more irritated because we love our doctor. So we proceeded to tell her we just wanted to leave, we didn’t feel we’d get the care our son needed and they let us leave. This was one of my worst experiences at a hospital and we will never be back."
"I can’t say enough good things about the CMH GI CLINIC and staff… EVERYONE that we came across that helped us that visit was compassionate, caring and really helpful! It amazed me how they all came together as a team to meet our needs! From the entrance with the lady that checked us in .. all the way thru dr, nurse, lab , radiologist and social worker.. they were all #1 in my books! They have a real sense of communication and making sure it’s all done in the best interest of the patient… thank you all for making our visit much easier and preforming your job to notch!"
"My 9 month old had an appointment for same day surgery and the whole staff, the nurses and doctors and even the front desk lady was beyond kind and treated my child so well! Everything was explained to me in detail and I felt very safe with them taking care of my baby! His procedure was quick and easy and they did an amazing job! ❣️"
