Leawood City Park

"This is such an amazing park. There is a great playground and big grassy areas to play catch or just sit and picnic. There is a concrete walking trail that is for bikes and walking. They also have an aquatic center with an amazing pool. Pets are allowed in the park and the water fountains are pet friendly, it has a ground level water fountain attached to regular fountain for pets. We love this park. Fun for all ages"

"Nice city park, good outdoors getaway without leaving the city. Nice long walking/biking trails. It's got:play ground, dog park, picnic tables, outdoor art, streams and ponds. And a fair amount of wildlife. Also has a pool that's open in the summer. The only downside is a bit of noise from the 435 free way."

"My main teason for coming is the playground. It is only shaded in the early morning and late afternoon. It has equipment for little kids, and older. It is fenced, and has a lot of space for running. Sitting space is limited. It is located very close to a highway."

"An amazing inclusive playground ideal for all ages. Features lots of sound stations and musical instruments. It even has a conveyor slide, which I haven't seen for years and is still awesome! The playground itself is fenced in which is now with smaller kids. Lots of open fields, trail, tennis courts, and restrooms. Aquatic center/pool is newly remodeled as of summer 2022 and should open any day."

"Located in Central Leawood, this city park has it all. Paved trails for families and friends ds to walk or bike. A fantastic playground for kids to enjoy! An amazing aquatic center sits central in the park. Plentiful open space for running or kicking a ball around exists too. Dogs ❤ the dog park too. A city treasure for all to enjoy!"
