Wyndham Garden Kansas City Airport

"We stayed here from 2/13/24 - 2/15/24 and upon our arrival the room was ready early. Location is right off the freeway, plenty of restaurants nearby, there is Target close as well. This place is about 20 min away from down town KC. The rooms are nice and big so over all not a bad place. The reason for the low mark is that upon our departure at 6 am the front desk staff, Alexis, was sleeping in a booth, which at first we thought was a guest that arrived to early. My daughter need a shuttle ride to the airport which is part of the service here. Alexis, woke up angry, and threw the shuttle keys to the drive, threw not tossed. After we had breakfast I went to the front desk and Alexis back asleep in a booth finally woke up and walked over. Alexis noticed that I had my key cards slapped the glass jar for me to put them in it. I asked for a receipt and she sighed, she printed off the receipt and the printer had low ink. She now was even more upset because she had to walk to another office to print it out. She returned and like a paper airplane tossed the receipt to me and it slid across the counter and she walked away. If you can ignore Alexis bad work ethics and attitude its not a bad hotel, or then is this a management issue that allows their workers to sleep in plain sight of customers and then treat them as if we are bothering them while they sleep at work."

"Clean, Great customer service, family feel appreciation while staying there. The rooms are extremely spacious, extremely clean, they offer a bar and a very good breakfast. The breakfast area is clean and a great presentation of food. Most hotels the breakfast area is messy and there’s cereal all over and this is extremely clean and in order. I feel safe that my food is not contaminated. They offer exercise room, Airport, transportation, outdoor pool, and Starbucks. David, the manager is extremely caring along with his staff. Eva and Cammie were exceptionally nice. I would personally rate this a five star hotel for three star hotel price."

"The hotel provides a free airport shuttle. For this service, the hotel has to be called. The hotel is ok - but could do with some modernization. Large rooms - but cleanliness could be better; I found some long hair on the wall of the shower. Workout room - nice and too warm inside. A few workout-machines and free towels. Simple breakfast buffet. See photos for more details. Yes - I would come back and stay again because theres value for money."

"Went to check in. I had already paid. Eve or Eva checked us in. She said there's 100.00 security deposit I had to pay. That was no where on line. I said, really?? She said she could just use my charge the card I used for room. Now they didn't just hold it, they charge it. Then when room is ok. They will refund in 7 days. I said, I'll do cash. Asked if I could have receipt. She said, we don't do receipts. I said what, I'm supposed to hand you 100.00 and get no receipt. Now she's REALLY getting a attitude. She said, I'll find manager & then come up to your room. I said, no I'm not leaving without a receipt. Manager came over. No, no receipts. Can't even write on note pad ,paid 100.00 . That's ridiculous. The guy behind me said, take a picture of the book She wrote it in. So I did. Then with a smart a$$ tone. Eva says, so you want to watch me put it in this drawer, so you know I want taking your $$. Really bad attitude. Ok so about hotel. Smelled so good. Like carpet fresh. Got to room. Smelled good too. Very clean. AC worked fine. Shower was hot & great water pressure. Breakfast was good. David the manager, even thought wouldn't write a receipt. Very nice guy. GREAT PLACE TO STAY!"

"They 100% do not clean the rooms. both beds were covered in the past guests hair and there were stains all over the sheets that felt crusty. the room seemed to only be tidied. When we asked for more bed sheets the front desk seemed confused and when we had asked for clean bedding from the cleaning staff they didn’t understand anything we were saying. really hoping this place doesn’t have bed bugs but we only had to stay for one evening. just beware and ask to change the sheets before staying"
