"We stayed at this hotel 1 night and glad it wasn’t for more. The key wouldn’t work when we got to the room, the folder that came with the key cards made it sound like you had to download and use the app for the digital key. We were stuck outside out room for a while trying to figure that out. Never received the requested the digital key on the app so we had to get new keys. The bathroom door is way too big, it’s difficult to get in/out of the bathroom without touching the toilet. We picked this hotel since it looked nice and had a free breakfast. The breakfast was very minimal and unappealing. The eggs tasted old. Other than choking down the eggs and drinking some apple juice, we didn’t eat the breakfast. The hotel did seem clean. The room was a bit small with the couch/bed pulled out ."
"Unfortunately this has been the worst Home2Suites I've stayed in, and this was my second stay at this exact location. I understand these are meant to be family friendly and also more budget friendly, but this location leaves a lot to be desired. We had a 2 queen bed and sleeper sofa, which fits our family of 5 great. The first issue comes with the bathroom. The door literally barely clears the toilet to close. By this I mean there is maybe a half a centimeter between the toilet and the door. Design and planning could have easily added just a few more inches if not a foot and made the bathroom way more functional, especially with smaller children who often need assistance in the bathroom. This was a stopover for us on a longer trip and we arrived late in the evening, tired from being stuck in the car all day. At 10:00 at night, we discovered the shower/tub was barely draining. Within seconds of turning on the shower, you were already in standing water. Everyone was too exhausted to be switched to a new room, we just wanted to shower and sleep. Instead we all took 'camping' showers. Only turning the water on to rinse off as quick as possible. I did report this at the front desk when checking out and was offered nothing and only told "we'll get that taken care of." The staff was pleasant, albeit should have made more of an effort about issues presented with. Definetly not what I expect from the Hilton brand or for $150 for a single night."
"This was a great hotel for our group. We were spending a week in KC visiting a food slicer manufacturer. The rooms are very spacious. We really enjoyed the kitchen and full refrigerator. Although we did eat out a lot, having the kitchen feature was a great option for staying in and having a meal in your room. We did not go to the pool but it was available. No hot tub. The second shift receptionist was a very friendly young lady. She was very polite and knowledgeable about my KC area. We asked her about a good burger in the area and ended up getting Whattaburger. Rooms were clean, parking was plentiful and the staff were great. I would definitely recommend this hotel for any extended stay."
"This is a long one but its necessary. I've never had an issue with a Home2 until this one, pictures are attached for all to see. After settling into the room and noticing what were some openly dirty issues, we pull back the sheets to find a toenail, hair, and food crumbs. The sheets looked pressed to the mattress as if they had been slept in already. After further inspection, we find another toenail on the carpet next to the bed, trash from previous guests, a feather, dirty dresser drawers, just a filthy room. This is almost 10 o'clock at night with a family of 5 and a baby crying for bed. We were moved to another room which was incredibly inconvenient after we had already settled in. Breakfast was extremely mediocre, cold hard biscuits, yogurt was out, drink dispenser was dirty and sticky. When items were low or out, the attendant could be seen in the back room on her phone rather than keeping everything stocked. That breakfast is your job, own it or find a new one. After 2 nights, all the money spent, and even extending another night, I was told I could not be refunded any money because I used points, and would instead be refunded points. I was given back 5,000 of the 10,000 points I used, which honestly doesn't go all that far. I truly believe all of the points should've been refunded at the very least. Overall, very dissatisfied with this experience."
"Not the best choice among Hilton extended stay properties near the airport. Looks great, but stay a few nights and you find the rooms can be noisy, maintenance is not a priority, and the breakfast is below average. Housekeeping is a highpoint, few hotels these days offer every other day service."
