"Extremely beautiful place for a family outing, restrooms were clean and easy accessible picnic area is immaculate and all the others families were sociable and friendly. It can be loud and overwhelming when the park is full but what you expect kids are playing and having fun."

"This playground is great. There is lots of space to spread out and lots of things to climb on. The turf is nice, but I could imagine it gets hot on warm sunny days. There are some shaded spots. The only change I would make would be to add more items for babies/toddlers. There wasn’t much my daughter could do safely. Even the swing area didn’t include an infant swing."

"Amazing playground with padded astroturf base. Tons of climbing equipment great for kids of all ages. Zip line, running/ walking path, hiking trails nearby. Pretend fort area. Our family had a wonderful time running and exploring! Swings, rope climbing stuff, pretend tree house, and slides everywhere."

"Fun, awesome, & spacious playground at Hodge Park! *limited shade* Lots of play structures for younger & older kids! Rope & rock elements, slides, swings, & zipline! Playground area has soft turf & is fenced around the perimeter. Stroller friendly concrete path. Large covered pavillion with lots picnic tables & great shade. Two additional small shade structures good for watching kiddos. The playground is a small part of Hodge Park which has trails, ball fields, & more!"

"Love the new playground and the trail connects all the way to the golf course on the other side. It’s the perfect place for us to host a 5k / 10k race. The participants all enjoyed the views of nature and running through the living history museum. That is also something I will definitely be bringing my kids back to visit: the Shoal Creek Living History Museum. It’s a free!"
