"SOME of the employees are absolutely amazing.... Also, the store is usually kept pretty organized and categorized... there are hardly ever any (sales) special colored tags on the clothing tho..."
"Excellent store. Lots of selection, and they gave us an active duty military discount that allowed us to afford to buy a nice used bike for our 9.5 year old for Christmas. God bless them."
"I love shopping here. The store has been reorganized, so it makes it a lot easier to find clothes, shoes, books, and house decor. On Sundays there is a 75 cent tag along with the 50% off color tag and the 25% off color tag. I like this thrift store and its staff a lot better than city thrift which is right down the road. The staff here at Red Racks are respectful, and when you check out they make sure that you're taken care of. Prices do vary. Some I agree with and other I don't, but that's okay. I will be continuing to return again and again."
"On thrift and salvage stores I have a theory, that their is a correlation to the more disorganized the store, better the treasure you find. I don't make it to this store a-lot but it was the most organized, neat and retail ever and couldn't find any great finds this time. In past found amazing new Adidas shoes, Chiefs shirts and more. I'm a guy and the have a ton of women's clothing. Still a great place, but seems that folks are possibly shopping more for deals in harder times. Vintage section is great, lots of Royals gear- hmmm ya think, furniture and more. Great mission of helping Veterans."
"They’ve raised their prices once again. I find deals every once in a while but most things are WAY overpriced. Anything old, they put in their vintage section and ask Etsy prices. Their vintage section is either junky, picked over (probably by staff) or over priced. Most clothing is ridiculously priced. They mark up for brand names or popular brands but that could include Forever 21 and Shein lol. They have color tag sales but most of the good items are tagged in a color that never goes on sale. You can get a decent coupon by donating and that’s been the only reason I keep going. However, they likely marked up prices because of that coupon. They might support veterans but anyone whose income is low and looking for an affordable way to buy clothes, won’t be able to afford Red Racks prices. They took away the dressing rooms during covid and aren’t going to replace them. Therefore, you can’t try on the $25 dollar summer dress or $18 pair of jeans. If you want to risk buying it and it doesn’t fit, you can’t return it; you can only exchange it so you’re betting on finding something else you need within the few days you’re given. Everything is jam packed on the racks and shelves because guess what? They can’t move inventory like they used to because the prices are so high. I’ve been going here for years and it’s no longer in my top few thrift stores in town for all these reasons. It’s actually really disappointing because they had a good thing going. Not sure they’re listening to their customers. Did I mention your prices are too high? There’s a bathroom still so I’ll give them a star for that. Explicitly says you can’t try on clothes there though or they’ll make you leave."
