"It was my first order from Christopher Elbow Chocolates as a surprise. The package arrived neatly and well protected and the packaging was superb! Beautiful boxes and bars of chocolate tied with a red ribbon. Then when you see the chocolate in their wonderful packaging, your definitely amazed! Brilliant bits of art work dazzling your eyes. A lovely guide to let you know what flavors your about to experience and colors like gems! The web site does a great job of displaying the chocolates but in real life, their absolutely amazing! I have to think of the time and energy put into the care of each piece! This will be my go to gift for business clients, friends, family, and loved one! Excellent and elegant! "If you want to talk impress someone with a box of chocolates, Christopher Elbow is *the* premier place to buy chocolates that is located in the south side of downtown Kansas City. Their largest box of chocolates will run you $100 and a small box of four will run about $13. They also sell other delicious chocolate themed items like candy bars that are high in Cocoa and hot cocoa powder. The store itself is charming, very colorful, basic, and inviting. About half of the store is reserved for some seating and restrooms for the guests. It is hard not to get a good feeling when you walk into this well appointed storefront. The gentleman behind of the counter was very helpful and kind in finding just what we were looking for. Like the chocolates, there's definitely a lot of thought that went into creating a storefront and lounge area to make it very lovely and inviting. Their boxes and gift wrapping are also top notch. If you happen to stop in here to buy chocolates, go another two and a half blocks and visit Messenger coffee house. I've included some pictures of the chocolates that are available.
