"Well, overall It was pretty good. The food was ready quickly. The service was prompt. The dining area was pretty clean. I don't have any complaints or really any suggestions. It is as good as any Popeyes that I've visited. I would recommend giving it a try."

"Came to pick up an order at this location and this cook had her long hair just down. No hair net, nothing. How can the managers just let the employees work like this? Her hair can easily get into the food. Oh, and no gloves either. She was just grabbing everything bare hands, even the food. Disgusting. This is a brand new location, new management. Do better."

"Was a great opening. Now the Chicken Sandwiches are hit and miss on the crunchiness and staying together. Chicken (bone in) otherwise is great. Service is great. Food preparedness could be better. You do not dump the packets of ketchup, which I did not ask for, into the bag with the fries."

"Visit the new Popeyes facility in Shawnee that opened a few months ago. The place is new, modern and beautiful, but not recommended for large groups as the dining area is small and there are few tables. The food was a huge failure. First: the place was empty and it took a while to get our order. Second: the chicken and potatoes arrived cold and some without biscuits. Third: The pieces that were supposed to be white meat were black... all pieces. You could hear a lot of staff in the background, but the service was a bad experience... which is a shame because Popeyes is my favorite chicken... Maybe the manager needs a wake-up call."

"Both times I've gotten a side of mac and cheese from this new location and they've included more than half the mac and cheese is just a pile of shredded cheddar that's melted. After the first experience I made sure to say don't add The extra cheese and explain that last time I got a brick of cheese with my Mac. The person you took my order walked back to the kitchen and clearly told them but I still got a brick of cheese in my Mac. Who the hell wants this instead of mac and cheese? Outside of that there was staff actively cleaning the dining area and taking out the trash so hopefully the cleanliness will get a bump up since they've seen the other reviews I was excited to have a Popeyes back in the area fingers crossed this one doesn't turn out like the others."
