"For our 5th wedding anniversary we had dinner at Pearl Tavern. Lauren did a great job of taking care of us and she had really good recommendations and she was very personable. The oysters were small but pretty good. We both really enjoyed the crab rangoons that had a lot of crab meat in them. My wife had the Chealen Sea Bass and she said it was light and flaky and the miso demi glaze was sweet and it was very good. I got fish and chips and it was one large piece of fish. It was so big and had so much batter that they had to cook it longer to make sure it was done, so it was overcooked in my opinion. The one negative it that between our table and the table next to us was turned into a wait staff highway. They kept squeezing between the tables while delivering food and it was annoying. I put a chair there to stop this constant traffic. I was difficult to enjoy our dinner with people constantly coming through and having to move for some of the employees. The manager said she would move the chair for us and we explained why we put it there. She asked if we wanted to move to another table and we said yes. She never came back and we told Lauren we were fine at this table if was can leave the chair between the 2 tables, she said not a problem."
"Lauryn was a great waitress. The food was excellent except for the fries but let's face it that's not really what we're going for anyway. The lobster roll ,the crab cakes, the blackened shrimp tacos, the oysters. It's all great. Give it a try!You won't be disappointed"
"I wish we had looked at the menu before we went. Didn’t realize it was primarily a seafood restaurant. The non-fish options are very limited. Coming from FL we are not confident of the freshness due to the proximity of an ocean. What we had was good, again just not a lot of options. Service was exceptional. The view from our table was the off ramp from the interstate. The appetizer was good, not a lot of cauliflower. It’s pricey, almost $100 for lunch with only soft drinks. The kids Mac n cheese was $9. Plenty of parking. I didn’t see any real vegetarian options."
"Great thing the service was amazing because the food left much to be desired, unfortunately. We just moved to the area and couldn’t wait to find what we were hoping would be our new seafood go-to. Everything we ordered was pretty much a let down. I debated between a 3 and 4 overall rating, because the food was a solid 2. It wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t really that good. Calamari was decent, but we weren’t big fans of any of the 3 dipping sauces. The Caesar salad we started with was bland. Watery dressing and mostly iceberg lettuce. The lobster Mac and cheese was ok, but the cheese sauce left a strange aftertaste we couldn’t quite put our finger on. Finally, what we thought would be the star—Parmesan crusted sole—was hardly edible. It was almost burnt and I couldn’t taste any fish. Perhaps a thin cut like this isn’t best with the batter. The sauce served with it was tasty, so it’s too bad the fish didn’t work. Mashed potatoes were pretty good, but the broccoli had zero seasoning. The atmosphere here is awesome, we loved the vibes, especially the bar area. Our server, (Austin I think..), was amazing. Extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and a hustler. He seemed to genuinely enjoy his job. Oh and my margarita was strong—totally worth the $5! (On special) Good news is that they have a huge menu, so we will undoubtedly be back to try other things, and hopefully change update our review with another star!"
"Great food, romantic atmosphere. The restaurant did get quite noisy during busy dinner hours and we did have to wait on drinks and then refills. The halibut, scallops, and salmon were all perfectly cooked and delicious."
