Minsky's Pizza Lee's Summit

"We are about to stop coming to this location solely because of the front desk lady. We keep coming back and honestly regret it everytime. The only reason we have come back is to see our favorite server on the weekend. She’s always been so nice to us, talks to us with a smile and she’s just a total sweetheart. But the black girl up front is so rude while she seats us, like it’s a problem we come in… the issue is not just when we come in but when we have CALLED too . I recognize her voice and I know she’s the one who hangs up on us when we call to place delivery. I’ve heard her be rude to other customers too when we’ve been waiting for a pickup. How can minskys stand to have someone like this at the front desk? She has the absolute WORST attitude I’ve ever witnessed in an human being and I understand it is a restaurant but she’s so far from professional. Shame minksys would allow someone who behaves this way to work for them"

"Restroom was filthy and lacked adequate supplies. Urine on floor as well as used paper towels. Ordered sweet tea, was informed they only have unsweetened. When server brought drinks, didn't offer sugar nor sweetener. Had to get her attention again to ask for seeetner.Felt rushed, as server came by and asked if we needed a box about 10 minutes after bringing food. Pizza was good."

"I loved Minsky's Pizza from my days in college. Later, we enjoyed taking our kids there for dinner. Now, the service has declined to such a point it saddens me to say I stopped ordering from them 8 years ago. Their pizzas are smaller and the quality has seriously declined."

"Our server Nu Nu (?) was fantastic, very prompt and friendly. The pizza on the other hand was average and no like a normal Minsky's. The cheese was very light, Casey's pizza would had been better. Service was A+ and the atmosphere was warm. Note: Stay away from the iTunes juke box. First two songs I selected had no volume, let NuNu know and she had to turn it on from a switch around the corner on the wall. She refunded the credits for the missed songs. The screen shows 12 credits for $5 however, it's really 6 songs as they are 2 credits each unless its an unpopular song then maybe 1 credit. So it's really a rip off as you'll miss the first two songs while selecting the next 4. Room to improve on the pizza, not the expected quality for the most expensive pizza in KC. Because the pizza wasn't anything special I doubt we'd return to this location. The one in Blue Springs is hit/miss on accuracy."
