Papa Johns Pizza 1738 South 4th Street, Leavenworth, KS 66048

"Pizza was delivered fresh and quickly. However, the online ordering system removed one of my pizzas upon order completion and the manager was not able to add it back in. They said they'd have to send out another driver. So another tip and another delivery fee. Not to mention the original tip remained, making it 30%. So the $16.99 pizza ended up being $30. No thanks. Order from somewhere else or make your own. This may be the most expensive, generic pizza I have ever ordered. BTW, the peppers I used to love so much are basically old slimy things now."

"I used to love Papa John’s and hadn’t had any in a few years. I called it in while my husband was in Lawrence (we live 20mins away). It literally took 5+ mins to place my order thru a third party… very annoying. Pizza was subpar. Will be a long time before we visit again."

"This is with no exaggeration, the 4th or 5th time that service has been horrific and that I’ve cancelled orders. This time (nov 17,2023), i ordered pizza (large) on line from our local PAPA JOHNS Leavenworth Kansas. The tracker gave 30 minutes (no big deal). After 50 minutes i checked the tracker, it still prompted “prepping”. After an hour and 10 minutes and a text telling me it was delayed to 75 minutes, rhen a text telling me “waiting on DoorDash to pickup”…i called the store and spoke to “Lori”. She put me on hold twice and them said the dasher just showed up. I asked how long its been sitting there aaiting to be picked up. She then tells me they will make another pizza. I cancelled it at that point. I reordered from dominos..i drove to pick it up and it was hot, ready and in my car in 20 minutes. When i cancelled papa johns, Lori responded “have a nice night”. No apology, no nothing and hung up. The same reaponse you get everytime theres an issue. We ate the pizza from domino’s and i check my phone and i have a text from doordash that the dasher was at my house and i didnt answer the door! The manager actually gave the cold pizza to her to deliver to me anyway! This is disgusting and about as unprofessional as it could be plus wastes the dashers time and gas teying to deliver a cancelled order"

"I rarely ever order food. Even more rarely do I order pizza. The reason being is that it is always inconsistent in quality. But with this Papa Johns in Leavenworth KS, that has changed. I have ordered from this Papa John's quite a few times now. Not even ONCE have I had food that was sub-par. Honestly, it amazes me because I have never seen a restaurant or pizza place be this consistent on good food. That's why I feel like any 1 star reviews on here are just people with an axe to grind, so to speak. I ordered pizza from them tonight, and the service they gave me is the reason why I am writing this. I was ordered online and realized that one of the toppings (canadian bacon) wasn't on the list of choices. So I called to see if maybe they were out or it was discontinued. I spoke to a man named Johnathan, who I think is the manager (if he isn't, then he should be promoted). He told me that they weren't out of the ingredient. He got my name and said he would personally make the pizza to be sure I got the topping on it. So I ordered my food, and was amazed at how quick it got here. The delivery driver (I did not get her name) was super nice and told me that it came right from the oven so it wasn't cold. The pizza that got delivered to me.. was a pizza they legitimately could put in a Papa Johns commercial. It didn't even look real. It is by far the best looking/tasting pizza I have had. I wrote this review because service like this, deserves to be praised. With how easy it is to just do the bare minimum, employees that go above and beyond deserve to be recognized. I really hope someone higher up at Papa Johns reads this review. This store deserves more than 5 stars. They all deserve raises."

"No love here for my small gluten-free pizza from Papa Johns! Cheese placement was off and whoever cut it into slices could use some more training! Plus, both my pizza and a large thin crust for the fam were not the crispy, crunchy crust we’ve enjoyed in the past. The crusts were tasteless and just undercooked. Usually have good experiences … not this time!"
