"For those looking for a great property to live at, I would highly recommend this property. We lived here for 2 years in a two bedroom townhome before we purchased a home. Had we not, we would still be here. The property is easy to get to, yet tucked off away from any riff raff. The entire property is well maintained all year and is always clean. Any maintenance request is promptly and properly taken care of. The ponds offer a great view and are packed with fish for those who want to fish. The pool area is always clean. The property is quiet, offers a sense of safety, and several police officers live on the property. The property definitely chooses quality tenants as there were never any issues in the years we lived there. The Maintenance crew are friendly and the property Manager, Debbie is courteous and professional. The parking is assigned which is great as we encountered issues everywhere else we lived as far as finding a spot to park. There is plenty of guest parking for any guests you may have also. The unit that we lived in had nice hardwood floors which were easy to keep clean. It has lots of natural light and high ceilings which give it a good aesthetic. Appliances are not dated and work properly. The units are quiet and walls are thick so you will almost never hear your neighbors. It had a large attic for storage as well. They are well insulated and our electric bill was very reasonable. The central air is newer and appropriately sized to the unit unlike most apartments/townhomes. The price you pay for what all you get at Southwind is more than reasonable especially compared to other properties in the area. It is not a low quality property and would recommend this place to anyone who wants a quiet, clean, safe place to stay."
"Do Not Rent here!!!! No air when i moved in.. management knew two months before I moved in.. and Unit was not clean. Management knew this. I got blamed for damage that was already done to a unit prior to moving in(and charged for when I moved out)..simply because management did not document the damage. Went with no stove for a week. And when it was replaced.. was replaced with something that looks to be someone's trash."
"Debbie is one of the most unprofessional human beings I’ve ever dealt with. I called to speak with her about leasing a building. At first she was nice, then directly afterwards when I attempted to explain to her my situation and that we would have to use my co-ownership and business as my residual income, she told me she could not. However, I have been approved everywhere else (just checking options) and haven’t had a problem. I am an RN and she said I would have to show my award letter. A job that I do not even start until next Friday. She had then told me that she had a client come in and she had to let me go, again unprofessional! I even have friends that live there. Whomever owns this property, needs to have a conversation with her and let her know that income is income. Period. If the owner would like to reach out, that would be amazing so I can explain how this corporation is being handled from one business owner to the next."
"Such a quiet and safe neighborhood. Great location to be at as well! We have been here for well over a year now and we love it! We have been in a 3 bedroom and recently downsized to a 2 bedroom and management made sure to think of us when I mentioned it and made it happen! Both units we have been in were extremely spacious, so that is always a plus! Very fast responses dealing with anything. Beautiful townhomes, friendly neighbors, and overall a safe environment! 10/10"
"It was a great place to live and I would suggest it to any and everybody. . They made it a breeze in my move to the Gulf Coast.The property manager, Eric, really cares about the renters and any issues you may have he will do his absolute best to fix it. I had an issue with my AC and it was fixed immediately. The apartment itself is really nice and updated. The kitchen is great for cooking and connects to the living room so the whole area is really open and great for hosting. Also the location is perfect. Unlike other places they have a 24/7 security that does an amazing job. The best part is that you can honestly tell that Southwind Resort really cares about their renters and their experiencee. Eric and Mariette are absolutely amazing and I'm not just saying that. They have a lot of respect for their tenants and really want them to have the best living experience."
