DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Biloxi

"I had better expectations for this hotel prior to booking but unfortunately it did not live up to the DoubleTree standard. The exterior and lobby of the hotel itself was clean, staff was friendly, and it is in a great location. However, the carpet in my room (207) was nasty. There were stains throughout and the amount of carpet freshener they tried using to mask the musty odor only lasted a couple of hours. The condition of the room and elevators are definitely starting to show its age. I would consider returning if no other Hilton options are available."

"The rooms had dirty carpets and my room smelled of must moisture. It's a beautiful location overlooking the gulf. The staff is nice and accommodating. I wouldn't stay there again I did like it because it was non-smoking and every casino was stinky so that was nice to be in a place that was clean in the lobby."

"Called to confirm hotel has cribs. When I check in I verified they had a crib and I needed it delivered to my room. I was assured by the front desk it would be delivered. After getting luggage up to the room I called to check on the crib. Oh yes, 15 minutes it will be right up. After 15 minutes no crib. I called the front desk again and checked. She ask if I would call her back in 10 minutes. I waited 15 minutes to call back. No crib. The front desk, then proceeded to tell me that the maintenance man had gone home for the evening at 10 PM. The time was 10:20. Over an hour from the time I checked in and requested the crib. The front desk proceeds to tell me that there’s no way to get the crib. So here we are with an eight month old and no crib. My wife is not going to get any sleep tonight. I highly recommend that you do not stay here. The level of service, and And concern for their guest is Minimal at best the attitude was terrible and basically they didn’t Care whether we had the crib or not. So we’re stuck. Total disrespect will be writing a letter to the president of the Hilton corporation documenting our stay and the front desk treatment."

"Very low rating under the fact that they put us above a laundry center. And we heard washer dryers all through the night. Didn't understand why they would do that very noisy hotel. No restaurant it opened very late. Could not get anything for the breakfast. No hot water For the hot chocolate and tea that they offered and the clerk at the counter did not seem to want to help with getting hot drinks for us. Especially since their restaurant still hadn't opened yet. They were very behind."

"We arrived to the hotel and were greeted by friendly, professional staff that got us into our room in minutes and threw in a couple of warm cookies to sweeten our evening. The room was large, clean , comfortable and quiet. The views of the beautiful live oaks and the beach were stunning. Our stay was so nice we didn’t want to leave. Upon preparing for our departure LaQonna Anderson took care of us and absolutely blew us away with her kindness and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and then some. Staff like her is what makes a stay wonderful. We have stayed in 5 star hotels all over the US and I count this in my top 3. Definitely on our return to locations. Kudos to Double Tree for having such amazing staff!"
