"During Cruising the Coast this motel went for greed. No exceptions for loyal customers or locals. From 50$ a night the nerve to charge 268.00$. For a struggling loyal customer moving back to Mississippi escaping years of domestic violence. No care or concern. Greed. 268.00 a night. Room stripped of coffee maker, hairdryer etc only to have a bathtub that was in such filthy condition. So disappointed in this family run beach motel. Decided to give them another chance and regretted doing so. Very dirty. Owners were rude ..so very rude then once again got greedy and wanted a pet deposit for every night I stayed saying I would get it back. Well.... I literally had to call the police to get it back. Never ever will I stay there again! I repeat NEVER! Filthy. Roaches....."

"Great little hotel across the street from the beach at a budget price. Very clean and well managed. They have some construction going on at the entrance, but the hotel itself is a hidden gem and not affected by the work in progress. Just walk across the street to the beach, or use the pool. Park in front of your room. There are two floors. No elevator. There is a refrigerator and microwave in the room. A coin operated clothes washing room is available on the first floor. The desk clerk was very friendly and helpful."

"The bed sheets didn't look fresh. May need to ask for clean sheets. The door did not lock from inside. I cleaned the bathroom myself( I always do at least the toilet no matter where I stay). Refrigerator cold. One socket on the nightstand worked. Bring Lysol & room freshener (plug in)if staying more than one night. My room had no carpet thank God...family did but they were fine.The room has musty smell ..Quiet area for the nights stayed. Budget friendly. Didn't have a desk chair in my room others did. Bring pillows if staying more than one night. The pool was open brother in law said it was okay. The front desk seemed okay and went to the front desk to pick up towels. Great air conditioning."
