Motel 6 Vicksburg, MS 4137 I20 Frontage Road, Vicksburg, MS 39180

"The room smelled horrible like a mix or cannabus, a vap shoppe and fabreeze mixed together. The linen was dingy and bed mattresses were worn out and lop sided and when we turned on the light 2 roaches or some kind of insect scurried across the bed. The bathroom mirror had mildew or some kind of discoloration all over it. The hotel lobby is is terrible condition with the carpet on the 2 stairways inside the lobby entrance is worn and extremely damaged and torn...while the management was very friendly and explained that it was under construction, there was no construction or evidence of construction or repair/remodeling going on anywhere I saw...the pavement in the parking lots needs repair and whatever church/steamship replica at the edge of parking lot is an eyesore(run down, weeds growing out of it). It appears there was at some point a Putt putt course(mini golf) on one side of building at it was overgrown with vegetation and in disrepair, clearly not being used....It was just terrible and I hate that my son had to see it and I should've just left and not checked in but since we were getting up early I just thought we'd tough it out....oh the management didn't know how to pull up our reservation...I had to help them....Look I get it, Motel 6 is not the Waldorf or 5 star swanky hotel but I've stayed in Motel 6's all my life and with out of doubt this was the worse "Chain" motel experience ever."

"The location was great, I was visiting Vicksburg national memorial cemetery, the gal in the front desk was great, my room had no working TV and mold around the tub and above the shower. I was too tired to call the front desk and complain. I knew it wasn't her fault, but I was happy with a room where my service dog could watch my vehicle. The room was cheap. I didn't expect much. 44bucks."

"The room itself was relatively new with a big king size bed. The heater was not working. The main problem is that the lobby and corridor need refresh. It does not match nice pictures that Google shows of the place."

"Sited at the top of a hill, there are beautiful views of the area. Staff was super, and we were given a ground floor room, perfect for my canine companions, with easy access to the pet area. The pet area is probably an afterthought, it's sited directly on top of an old putt putt course! It is nice and large, though, plenty of room for dog walking. The room itself was clean, although tired looking, and there were bugs in it, primarily on the nightstand between the beds. I found them nowhere else."

"We stayed at Motel 6 in Vicksburg, Mississippi. The rooms were large and clean. The bed was soft and there is a fridge and microwave in the rooms. They have a big nice pool and it's a quiet area. The owners were very kind and thoughtful. They provided a safe place in a convenient location. They allow pets too. The prices are reasonable. Thanks y'all for such good care."
