Bazsinsky House

"Our stay at the Bazsinsky House was one of the highlights of our trip. The house is being carefully and lovingly restored and I think that they only rent out two rooms and each is spectacular. Our room was huge, had an original marble fireplace, a large sitting area, a very comfortable bed and views of the Mississippi River sliding by. The breakfast was huge and came with a detailed history of the house and the family who built it from the owner. The owners have filled the house with antiques and exquisite paintings. Take your time as you walk through any room of the house you will see carefully arranged collections of antiques and other pieces of art. It was like staying in a friendly museum with a great breakfast. I can't recommend this B&B any more highly."

"The Bazsinsky house is a beautifully restored house centrally located lovely Vicksburg. We had an awesome stay there partially thanks to the great, friendly and knowledgeable host Andrew. Who made us a delicious breakfast which we shared with the other guests and a familiar setting which I enjoyed very much. The interior of the house is a nice combination of old furniture and a nice collection of art and curiosity items that give the house a distinguished yet homey feel. (I really loved the swinging chair in our room, it was so relaxing to sit in it) the Bathroom was modern and comfortable and the house was very clean and super tidy. I would absolutely recommend this place and I'd love to come back some day."

Our room (the one facing the rivers) was spacious, well-appointed (with fascinating books about the area), cool and lovely. The House is conveniently located for everything we wanted to see and do in Vicksburg - we walked to dinner, as well as to the bike rental place we used."

"The most beautiful and charming B & B in Vicksburg!! We arrived and from the moment we met the host, we knew we would enjoy our stay. The hospitality was outstanding, the food was delicious and presented in such a lovely display, .and our host Andrew & David were so friendly. Our room was so spacious and clean. We enjoyed talking with Bridget our house keeper and she kept our room immaculately clean. I would highly recommend it a 10+. Location is excellent for walking downtown and historical sites."
