Super 8 by Wyndham Vicksburg

"By far the worst hotel we have ever stayed at!!!! And we have had our fair share of bad hotels. This one takes the win! The rooms were super smelly, dirty and very old looking. There was black mold in the bathrooms, holes in the walls, the sheets were stained and the appliances, nor the tv worked. The receptionist at the front.. (Christine) was very rude & unprofessional. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS..YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!"

"The beds and pillows were amazingly comfy. The sheets/ pillow cases were clean. The bathroom and vanity area looked clean. (Although, I still disinfected/ cleaned the entire room myself; including the bathroom)  The young lady at the front desk was very friendly, helpful,  pleasant,  and kind. When I checked out the gentleman at ther front desk had a very pleasant disposition as well. The a/c in the rooms do work but only come on intermittently. It was rough to sleep at night because the room was very moist and dank. The carpet & couch in the room were horribly stained with heaven knows what & absolutely disgusting!! I covered the couch with a sheet and forbid my children to go near it. I've spent less money for similar rooms at hotels before and never seen the carpet & couch this bad! The breakfast was subpar and could use some work getting a better menu of items together. I believe they offered only a muffin & coffee lol I wish I had of taken pics, but was too busy cleaning what I could so I could put my children to sleep. Also, the location was decent. It was lights outside but, still kinda dark and creepy feeling."

"The room smelled of moisture and mildew, plus there was a Rando stain on the bed covers. We asked for a new room and the staff obliged without issue. The new room was fine."

"Older hotel, but well run, clean, modest breakfast (coffee and muffins) was surprising considering how reasonable the rates were. Staff was friendly. Enjoyed our stay more than the following night at a well known chain that cost three times as much and had an expensive price tag on every one of the breakfast items in the lobby."
