"It is a nice place for a picnic, walk the dog, fish or take a small boat on the ramp to the river. A lot of trees and though it is small, it is beautiful ."

"This park is so cool. Peaceful shady up top. They have two outhouses that are always stocked with t.p. my friend Dennis tends to this park he did Alot of work restoring and painting outhouses ,and he brought barrels for garbage cans and realy made the place look great, thank-you Dennis for doing a great job! You rock! Also there's a boat dock ramp bellow and you can fish here too! I love Pickett park."

"Needs TLC, but it's quiet, private, and beautiful. I'd be willing to move to the area, and work in the park. I loved it. My dogs could play off leash, and I felt like I was at peace. I suffer from PTSD, and this spot calms me right down. Thanks to the Picketts for providing me some calmness."
